Flutter~

A light flickers inside me, am I asleep,
seeping through the cracks of my soul
the yellowish shine reaches the surface
and my emotions are transformed


every moment of my past that I've
waited for has been let go, no more
tears, wondering if I'm the only one
he say's he loves, longing for his touch
knowing it's impossible


I'll keep that golden light lit inside of
me, but my life remains not the same,
cycles of growth form next to wild
flowers and the smell is glorious


individuality smiles, heart flutters, and
I'm reborn no more strapping me down,
like an airy butterfly I float
