An Encounter with a Bum
I saw a bum the other day
it is bad for my mind, but
I clump them all together
all the bums
the same, and I always feel so ---
I keep walking and ignoring
because they aren't human
It reminds me of working at the Mcdonalds
You just become a machine,
there for the customer
there to beg for more sales
Just a machine
and so I gave a cigarette
and he said 'God Bless'
and I clump that together too
because they always say that
and how can someone like that believe
in God
because sometimes when I have a bad day
i am not even sure i do
and i feel so small
But the idea is so big
But all people are different
and all souls are the same
so how can i not give fifty cents
to someone who is on this same earth as me
to someone struggling just as much
more
we all want more
more and more and more and more
and more bigger, and better
and God bless us;
each and every one.
it is bad for my mind, but
I clump them all together
all the bums
the same, and I always feel so ---
I keep walking and ignoring
because they aren't human
It reminds me of working at the Mcdonalds
You just become a machine,

there to beg for more sales
Just a machine
