A Rainbow

An iridescent, sparkling, vivacious rainbow glitters in the loving daylight
A baby born of the Sweet Lullabies that nourish the earth and our Colossal Star
What an awe-inspiring phenomenon it is to behold such a polychromatic sight
And it appears bearing a gift; a bit of joy, wrapped with a bow, to diminish our sorrows from afar

This child has saved you and allowed you to recover from your own penitentiary
Giving you hope and faith when all else was not even present
After one lingering glance at this newborn infant with vibrant, multihued eyes, you can see its beauty
Gazing into its depths instigate a soul- search within yourself; one that is ever so pleasant

Bliss and Delight bloom in the copious fields below its feet
Ever- sweet pictures reminisce and retell of times when grief did not exist
Its arms hug you with loving warmth and passionate heat
So precious, it drains your impurities and leaves you without a single clenched fist

Continuous ecstasy will be the result of accepting and embracing this child
Failing to acknowledge it will later prove to be an ignorant, careless blunder
