Religion

I shall be the one to bring about my own demise
My battles, actions, and deeds will determine my fate
I see the world, along with the people who inhabit it, with my own eyes
For what I know, and knowing me, I say that this is surely great

How can we say that religion is accurate?!?!?!
It has only came about due to our fear
For when we could not find the answers, we crafted it
Invisible, shimmering curtains appear between diverse communities; ever so sheer

A society divided cannot stand
And until we realize this, we will have divisions, and life will continue as it always has
We will not be able to reach out with a benevolent hand
Into the deepest of gloomy shadows, the absense of knowledge blinds us all

Religion is nothing but ignorant fear covering our once omniscient eyes
There is an otherworldly force that controls us, true, but we will never be able to comprehend it
Our delegation is to acquire acceptance and gaze beyond the lies
Not to dwell in the shallow waters of bigotry, arrogance, and utter stupidity
