I SAW HER TODAY...

It's funny,yet cruel,how it doesn't change.

You stay away awhile, but the feelings are always prepared to surface.

The same insects wiggle in your stomach.

The same light glows around her.

The same sadness hits you in waves, when she speaks.

You may think you're hiding it,but I'm sure she sees.

During separation, you tend to linger on the memories that caused you two to end.

Though once her scent hits you,you remember the sweetness she was.

Time never heals wounds.

It just gives you to the opportunity to create barriers around them.

It doesn't take much for those barriers to come crashing down,

and leave those wounds exposed all over again.
