We could be Giants

we could be giants
sitting tall on our 'high horses' perched...

we could be giants
head to the sky, attitudes of ME! ME! first

we could be legends
spoken about in history's lore

we could be legends
children thru the  generations' over... adore

yet we are a simple people
filling  in life's landscapes, lost souls...barren

though some bent on desruction,
praying on the weak,
leaving the helpless...uncaring

we could be giants
growing to heights, way out of bound

we could be giants
but remember when we fall off 'that high horse'
the fall we endure, is a long, long ways down...
