One word at a time

This was like a cryptic puzzle to me.   I decided to review from a different angle this work and it increased the intensity of the whole experience.  Before I even did I just read through a couple of times and it seemed to express to me stages of a relationship but then even though I had an understanding of every word I Wikipedia checked each and every one.  It opened my minds eye to a world of possibilities. I hope you get my drift lol but my favourite discovery was the tore is a Middle English word from Germanic background.  
Don't you just love words.  A thousand things to a hundred people.  I loved the journey I travelled with this write and hope you didn't mind me taking a new angle

I'm not as clever as that Syn. I was vaguely aware of possible double meanings but didn't think too much about it. The main aim was to save browsers the tedium of clicking read then back.
But I still love all your comments.

I was right there with Syn...my first impression was that this was very truncated but process oriented....well-developed and containing...

It was meant as 'fun' piece. I did dodge Syn's points. 'Gore' was intended to be ambiguous- penile or menstrual- which might give different connotations for tore, sore, whore and bore. Then I thought of anal- and gave up.
