A Really Weird Nature Poem
Give me new eyes
to see the beauty of this life
Give me a song to sing
A voice to praise
The sun and the warmth
She gives
I want ears to hear
The melody of the wind
And the swells of the ocean
Give me the scents of its
Briny, restless petals
Always admiring the shore
And carrying little lives
I want to feel the grass
And the sand and snow
Against my fingertips
Between my toes
Give me eyes to see
All the Earth's beauty
to see the beauty of this life
Give me a song to sing
A voice to praise
The sun and the warmth
She gives
I want ears to hear
The melody of the wind
And the swells of the ocean
Give me the scents of its
Briny, restless petals
Always admiring the shore
And carrying little lives
I want to feel the grass
And the sand and snow
Against my fingertips
Between my toes
Give me eyes to see
All the Earth's beauty
