Why Daddy? </3
On the floor, on her own
His little girl sits
Reaching arms up to the sky
Waiting for the father
Who didn't say goodbye
Smiling at the ghost
Only she can see
Even though he left her
She still says "daddy and me"
Now look at her, already 18
Wanting to know the man
She will never see
All those years passed
Still something's missing
It would break her mom's heart
If she would even listen
Nights in her room
Thinking of the father
She breaks down in tears
'Cause he didn't want her
Even now grown
She can't understand
What's so wrong with her?
Was she really that bad?
On the floor, on her own
His broken daughter sits
Reaching arms up to the sky
Crying for the father
Who never said goodbye
His little girl sits
Reaching arms up to the sky
Waiting for the father
Who didn't say goodbye
Smiling at the ghost
Only she can see
Even though he left her
She still says "daddy and me"
Now look at her, already 18
Wanting to know the man
She will never see
All those years passed
Still something's missing
It would break her mom's heart
If she would even listen
Nights in her room
Thinking of the father
She breaks down in tears
'Cause he didn't want her
Even now grown
She can't understand
What's so wrong with her?
Was she really that bad?
On the floor, on her own
His broken daughter sits
Reaching arms up to the sky
Crying for the father
Who never said goodbye
