Its unbearably real
The pain that builds inside as you try to pretend
Pretend that you dont love her
Pretend that this isnt the end
...but it is
And one day, as time passes by
You'll forget the pain it caused you
Forget you ever cried
....or you'll repress the feeling
Push it to the back of your mind
Maybe stop wondering why
Why am I not good enough
Why didnt I get my turn
....don't I deserve my chance too
I hope one day you realize
I'd have been perfect for you
