My little star light

I lay here and watch him sleep.
How amazed at "that came from me!"
A mirror image is what I see.

I can do nothing wrong in his eyes.
He reads threw my lies.
"Mommy whys?"

If he knew my past what would he see?
Would he still love me?
His kiss and hugs just so sweet.

He holds my heart when he speaks,
"mommy you come play with me?"
I am the hero thats what he sees.

Ill work hard to give him what I can,
My mind my heart my hand.
The life I never had.

God see me threw
help me know what to do
help him when things are new.

I close me eyes for tonight.
As I watch my stary light.
God watch us here this night.
