Backstabber
There's a sword in my hand and a knife in my back,
I don't think that's the way I intended this to go.
There's a hole that I dug and into it I collapsed,
I don't think that it's my fault, though.
You backed me up then stabbed my back,
Watch your step or I'll fall back on to you.
You got away clean, without a scratch,
Watch out because I'm out for you.
They pulled me through, now I'm alive again,
And I know who did it to me, so you better run fast.
They're here to help me avenge this sin,
And now you don't stand to last.
They backed me up all through the long hot day,
But night came upon us and then they turned,
They backed me up and stabbed my back to my dismay
And then they watched me burn.
