When We Ruled the World

I remember those days when the sun rose in the west and set in the east.

When the streets layed open and when we stepped on the cracks which broke our mothers backs.

Oh, how I missed those days when we ruled the world.

No one could stop us as the music blasted our ears and our lungs filled with electricity to panic at the disco.

I breathed carolina when you promised not to blackout.

You washed the wine that stained my soul and sept the hallways of my mind.

In return, I took your hand and we ruled the world.

But now that we're older, the world got duller.

My mind is crowded by the beat and my lungs collapse cause they no longer breathe.

But I still try hard to bring back those days when we ruled the world.
