Dandelion Evolving

flutter like fireflies
on winged inspiration

dark is the journey
but light the destination

flying carelessly in the wind
wishes warm as spring

thoughts adrift on fluffy clouds
where harmonious angels sing

and i, a lowly dandelion
am forever evolving

pollenating positivity
flowing and flowering

when you try to pluck me
i only grow back stronger

your pest(y)cides are useless
have no effect any longer

stomp me, push me, pull me
and i'll just keep on growing

but you best be careful
of the seeds that you're sowing

while i will continue to smile
golden shimmers shining bright

recieving what im giving
graceful glowing light

some may never see me
as more than a mere weed

a misfit,an outcast
too different of a breed

but you can't believe
everything that you read

so i will just continue evolving
in gust of wind spreading good deeds
