One begins
Right after another ends
They never stop, they keep going...
Continuous
Per diem... Per day
For each day that we're living
Your allotment,
What you're given
Is what you gotta take because that's all you gettin'
Plain & simple

We be forgetting to remember
That we did this before
Volunteered, made the decision to return
I could've stayed & just observed
I had it made in heaven
But I wanted to venture out and breathe again
So I did
Thank you God for the privilege while I'm in it

But when I get back!...
It's goin' be all that & then some
I know it
The moment I realize love
True LOVE!
Who would ever leave that?!
Can Love be boring?
Can asking a question like that have my ass somewhere burning?
No disrespect Lord, you know I'm being rhetorical

God don't trip, He cool
I'm still learning that too
I've been the shy one standing across the room
Wanting to be close but afraid to approach for too long
Everyday what I'm allowed
Is everything that I get in those 24 hours
