Last Day

Today is that last day I can say.
How much I care and want you to stay.
You're my best friend and nothing will be the same.

Though I hope your life will be, just as good as anything.
I don't want you to leave, but wipe my tears upon my sleeve.

And ask you to never leave.
Today I cry and say goodbye.

Now, you may not hear me weep,
But later, I may not even fall asleep.

Our friend is strong and true
but your leaving makes me blue.

how I feel: fake or real?

i try to keep my tears hidden
so you won't think good riddens.

So you won't leave faster
cause these tears I can't master.
