The real meaning of your hesitation
I am sick of this guess-work
so just tell me "no" because it will never be "yes"
I can handle rejection but not this distress
and I do not want to be a mess anymore
my butterflies' wings are torn
and my ventricles are all worn
so instead of "maybe" say "no"
then my heart's chambers can slow
down and I won't
have this choke in my throat
for too much longer.

I like this. It is super annoying, the whole "maybe" thing, as if we couldn't handle a "no". Nice write, I relate.
