Holding On 2 U

This confusion continues to eat at me.
 
Should I let go?  
Or continue believing...
 
You are no longer constantly on my mind
but hanging in there none the less.
 
I am working on me right now
to prove to myself that I deserve the best.
 
Whatever you send out is what you receive
I can no longer where my heart on my sleeve.
 
I try to move on, to have nothing left of you
but I am unable to- my heart,body,soul,
are all askew.
 
So just one day at a time  
and the future will see
just what the Lord has instore for me.
