Overthinking
I detest nights like these
I can’t sleep
Each hour my mind stays awake it bleeds uncontrollably from the remembrance of the pain from that night
All i wanted was to hear your soft voice one last time
All i wanted was to tell you i loved you before the night ended
It would have made me feel more at peace
The anxiety
The unease
The numbing in my body
How did it all happen so quick?
I know it's all in my head
They're wrong
They're always wrong but they never stay shut
I felt so lost without you

In the long line, should it be "bleeds" instead of "bleed"?
A good read, though the italics and bolding may be overkill as you break the lines up in a way that still stresses the word, but thats just how I read it. The impact of emotion is very direct though, you really hit that well. Good read

Another well written piece. It comes from your personal experience (as I can assume from it's being placed in the 'self' category), but it leaves itself vague enough that others can morph it into meaning something that they can relate to. Does that make sense?
