Voice of Fear

Awake in the dark a knock is heard,
not on a door nor a window,
neither a man nor is it a bird,
Speaking in the dark comes a voice real low,
"Your sins have come to haunt you."

On comes my mask for distressful times,
A coward becomes brave, yet nevermore,
I ask, "you speak of what crimes?"
  "Remember those you have torn."
A figure unseen forms the words.

Darkness black for dead of night,
my unseen face cries black tears,
my trail of blood arises without fight,
memories linger among my fears.
"Tears fell more in their blackend hell."

Tears melt my false face,
True tells my face sells,
my eyes, death is the case.
  Goodbye in this glorified hell.
"Your fear decieves the greatest of hearts."
