POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
A Night Of Bliss
The rain gushed down from open heavens
And the wind broke free from the east,
The night dampened in its darkness
Our noses were drenched in soggy scents
The rain shizzled off hot coal-tars
And the wind carresed our skins,
The night was beautiful and wet
And it hooked our hearts on bliss
Long into the night we sat and stared
At the generosity of the broken sky,
Wordless and contented we smiled
Deep into the rainy night.
And the wind broke free from the east,
The night dampened in its darkness
Our noses were drenched in soggy scents
The rain shizzled off hot coal-tars
And the wind carresed our skins,
The night was beautiful and wet
And it hooked our hearts on bliss
Long into the night we sat and stared
At the generosity of the broken sky,
Wordless and contented we smiled
Deep into the rainy night.

The Soul
Fire, water, air and all
Elements that make man stand tall.
Joy, sorrow, grief that burns
Swallows him whole as the world turns.
Emotions gathered within his heart
Is as marvelous as is art.
Mortal body shrinks as it ages
All is done so it manages.
Blood, brain, and all parts of the main
The soul departs but they remain.
So why after death does man not stand ?
His components are there, do ye understand !?
If thou believe not in a soul beneath
What then is underneath ?
Elements that make man stand tall.
Joy, sorrow, grief that burns
Swallows him whole as the world turns.
Emotions gathered within his heart
Is as marvelous as is art.

All is done so it manages.
Blood, brain, and all parts of the main

What then is underneath ?

Do You Mind ?
"Do you mind ?"
Long into the uneventful night
My sadness heavy upon my heart,
I opened a book to welcome other worlds--
To read-- if only through reading--
Imagine my disappointment
When I found feigned sadness
Conquering hearts there.
"Do you mind ?"
Could you please stop writing skillful rubbish ?
Could you please stop painting ghastly images ?
Pick up your pen and write something real
for God's sake--
So real that doubt can never hover there
And the pure-hearts will sink in tears
And strangers will...

"Be Moved Not To Anger"
In my wandering steps i'm priviledged to explore
The ups and downs of emotions left bare
Naked and unattended. Foresaw
I, the endless valleys close and near
That a trapped wanderer can never escape
Without the intention to forever leave there first.
Holes upon holes in the lightless landscape
Are deeper in depth to wells.
Its waters are tears gushing to escape
The sorrow and despair which there swells.
So when a destitute desolate you behold,
Be moved not to anger by his weakness,
Instead prayeth, "May this man heaven hold
And may God...

Subtle Plea
Head-deep in an ocean of pain,
Sleepless nights and black rings,
Regret heavy on the head;
Should have seen it coming...(maybe?)
Horrific sights and horrible sounds,
Blinded eyes and bleeding ears;
Testimonies to the presence of evil;
The darkest of nights is upon us.
Time to move on again;
Time like gentle breeze is a-drift,
This isn't what you wandered for
...
The lost soul is forever alone,
Another failure, another one gone;
Please find strength in the last of your sweat
And let tears wash your heart.
There...

Perception
I felt her calculated words reaching
for my ears.
Carried by the chilled wind of the night.
Each word freezed with cold
like Iceburgs floating on the antarctic sea;
She hated me.
I would have frozen dead, right on my
tracks, to her eternal delight
If not that my boiling blood was, at then,
heated from a burning heat escaping
an intense fire that was my heart-
Heaving as though vexed, like the release
of magma from a volcanoe;
I hated her more.
Sudden tears, from nowhere, fell from her
eyes, a drop rolled down her...
for my ears.

I'm Not One Of You
Distance yourself from me, severe
our burdensome ties.
For I see not what you see
In unused heaps and heaps of gold.
Climb the next horse and speed away,
Remove yourself from my company,
For sooner or later i shall ask
of your every action "Why?".
Waste no time forgetting about me
erase your memories of me.
For if at all you find them pleasant
Then your memories tell a lie.
Stand from a distance and study my character,
Observe my few joys and sorrows,
See you not that your shame is my pride;
That my pride is your shame?...
our burdensome ties.
For I see not what you see
In unused heaps and heaps of gold.
Climb the next horse and speed away,
Remove yourself from my company,
For sooner or later i shall ask

On-Looker *
A moment in time, of dread, wherein
reality exceeds the low boundaries of
imagination;
Wherein the beauty of the luminous red
moon becomes nothing more than a
rusted coin hanging in the night sky,
And the perculiar scent of fresh roses is
just as ignored as the odour of a familiar smell.
When the soul is weary and the mind is
too weak to think,
When seconds float like butterflies in the air
to be counted,
When life sucks the juices out of sadness
and happiness alike;
Then you're left with a will so weak it
cannot stand you...

The Empty Echoes of Silence
I'm disgusted by silence at times,
especially when it's hers.
I ask, then i eagerly listen for a reply,
But i'm to be answered by nothing..
Safe the empty echoes of silence...
I look at her face and i see a billion words
formed-
her brows, lips, eyes and nose--
each have a thousand stories to tell
...
My wandering mind runs
Off into the wild,
More inclined to think the worst than the worse
...
Worried, i perk my ears to listen...
But i hear nothing...
Safe the empty echoes of silence...
especially when it's hers.
I ask, then i eagerly listen for a reply,
But i'm to be answered by nothing..
Safe the empty echoes of silence...

Truth is Golden
Forever seek to develop the mind
Basking in light wherever you may find.
What differentiates truth from lie,
If not circumstances from on high.
Constantly push forward towards truth
Though sometimes, im afraid,
you might lose a tooth;
Good or bad- doesn't really matter..
Love or hate- both do nothing but flatter-
I say, whether the Liar is rich or poor, young or old,
Stone him with a big stone of gold!
Is there a better gold than that
Which tears open illusional might
And forces a man out of his world
To embrace sadness, and...

Good people
The world is full of wolves.
And more wolves pretending to be
sheep;
wicked, heartless, manipulative...
deceitful, arrogant, greedy -
good people
...
but somehow I luckily managed to pick up needles
from a bloody haystack-
Somehow I managed
to come across
good people.

Heartbreak
She spoke with such eloquence
that her tongue moved with the
freedom of birds rolling in air
Blood flood the carpet but the dimness
of the room
made her tear drops disappear
The last lamp was her heartbeat slowly
fading away like a figure walking in a
sandstorm...
All he felt was the white helplessness of
pity as her soul separated from her body
The wide room, in his mind, enclosed
him-
The black marble walls closed in...
His heart too was constrained, the agony
of death dripped inside his head
...
