LIFE SPAN
When I was 12, I found I had a knack for writing. After one school assignment for a haiku poem had me feeling good because of the teacher's smile. Later that week, I watched Romeo and Juliet. I was inspired, so i raced to gather myself a pen and paper. 15 minutes later, a full page was created full of things i comprehended from that tragic love story. The bite marks of where you imprinted your love on my arm in a playful manner have since passed, but the muscle tissue still hurts, but never as much as the muscle i use to love you when we part. From the very first moment, I didn't know it but I fell for you,
soon enough, you left me hopeless and broken, what was I to do?

Ravaging Thoughts
I'm the captain of my own fate.
I have too much pride when i'm offered help for my troubles, i deny it and handle it.
The ship that drives my will has crash landed on a desolate planet.
Problem is, that it's in my mind so i'm surely all alone.
So out of touch with the real world, i don't know where my feelings go.
Unclaimed thoughts ravage my mind trying to find their place, shadows of a lost smile so ghost like, it'll never leave a trace.
Yesterday's memories and the thoughts of happiness are too far gone, maybe the wish for something better was too far...

Subdued Pain
I'm sick of walking, so I take flight with a sip of the bottle.
but when its all over I come crashing down towards
the bottom. I think it 'cause of my problems. They say
there are people worst off but they can't feel my pain,
no two people are the same, we all playing to
win, but we playing different games.
I take comfort in the bottle.It soothes all of my
sorrows, when I'm getting blasted,
I can lose myself,and hope for a brighter day in
the tunnel of tomorrow.The best part is, I can
always find solace in another if the comfort in ...

Time is taking too much of its' sweet self to heal these wounds in which it and its' partner in crime love created. The sad sorrow of yesterdays sweet memories and tomorrows bitter agony weigh heavy across the scars of this heart. Thoughts of what love could've been, what love should've been, what love would've been, what loves purpose was in the beginning and what love has turned out to be because of the mess we made with it.
