In my Ideal Life
In my ideal life, I make my bed and take a morning run.
In my ideal life, I am organized.
I am flexible.
Self reliant.
I am running on full.
I regenerate if I am running on empty.
I am self aware.
I continue to learn about myself.
I recall my knowledge and use it to my advantage.
I accept and better my weaknesses.
In my ideal life, I can speak fluently.
In a conversation, a poem, instructions.
I can process what I am saying.
In my ideal life, I have enough of an attention span to read what is in front of me.
And take in what is around...
In my ideal life, I am organized.

When I was young
When I was young
My handwriting was very messy; entirely illegible.
My letters were written in all kinds of obscure shapes; still are.
I was never allowed to write for group notes because everyone would become too frustrated from reading my horrific handwriting.
It took me longer to learn; still does.
I was disorganized; although I’ve come a long way, I still am.
I’d get frustrated; still do.
The only difference is I used to plug and chug and get nothing out of it.
I never understood any formula.
I never remembered it either.
I made excuses, so to...

Wisest words (Treasures that I have dug up from 6 years ago)
Wisest words:
It was a day of luck when an angel was born.
She was so unique with so many talents.
She had a voice of a lullaby and was so gifted she could probably fly.
She had a smile which was accompanied by laughter and caution.
She was as delicate and gentle as a blossom.
She had hair that held silk and shine.
Her mind was so great, it complemented mine.
Most of all, she spoke the wisest words.
Her aura could was so quiet and very rarely heard.
As much as she didn’t much effort to try, her speeches had no lies.

I'm a believer (First draft)
On Easter Sunday, I realized that I am an all around believer. I am not committed to any particular religion or worship any particular prophet or God. But I still do believe. I believe there is more to believe in a faith that most think. I believe in fate. I believe in inner strength. I believe in any good could come out of any heartbreaking, stressful times. I believe that the rain, sun, snow, grass, trees and all parts of nature serve so much more from a scientific and spiritual respect. I believe in work ethic . I cherish non material rewards. Inner strength
So a few minutes ago, I called up the future and this is what she said.
Alright, I’ll put it this way, in a few years you’ll be over this.
You won’t be in pain.
You might roll your eyes at his stupidity.
But this will only make you stronger.
I took her advice and then called my inner strength into my room.
This is what she had to say.
She told me, sometimes we need to be knocked on our asses in order for some sense to be knocked into our brains.
And sweetie, it’s time to move on from all the rejection people have thrown at you.
It’s not because life isn’t...

If I were famous (revised)
If I were famous, I would work on my self image before my hair, nails, and makeup for an upcoming picture.
I would demand not to be air brushed on camera.
The papparazzi could take all the embarrassing pictures; make all the snide comments in their captions, and think up whatever hurtful nickname they could think of.
I still wouldn’t change a damn thing.
I would not resort to liposuction or a boob job so I could be on the monthly cover of Playboy’s magazine.
Instead, I would flaunt who I am.
The girl next store.
A female with self respect, ambition, and true...

Fit
Fit
You try to place it somewhere; it doesn’t fit.
This is bullshit.
You don’t get it.
It’s too hard to put together.
Therefore the ones who can’t be categorized will be shunned forever.
You try to make something fit into a particular shape.
It’s just not possible to find out how to trace.
This is all wrong.
Something isn’t right.
There must be a trick.
It frustrates everyone, causing a fight.
Things are so much simpler in black and white.
The truth of the matter is the world is meant to have all different colors, shapes, and sizes....
You try to place it somewhere; it doesn’t fit.
This is bullshit.
You don’t get it.
It’s too hard to put together.

Help yourself
When life gives you potatoes, make potato salad.
When life gives your war, fight your battle.
Along with success come the side effects of a hassle.
How does one get through it all?
The work can be as hard as trying to walk through a brick wall.
Effort is the key.
Be your own lead.
One cannot only depend on fate to change on its own.
Help yourself; give yourself the loan.
When one gives you a hand, feel free to grab on.
In the mean time, it's up to you to get what you want.
Opportunity can always launch.
Who's the one to get it?

I knew when Christmas would never be the same
I still remember when one holiday would never be the same.
We all knew it would happen.
But my young mind was still optimistic as I wanted to believe we still had more time together.
My mom’s expressive sadness and my father’s calm, silent mourning for you made me hate the mistake you made.
But times were different then.
You never knew something everyone did recreationally would kill you and the Grandmother I never met.
And still, what is almost 12 years later still brings tears to my eyes.
How God took you so soon.
I was too young to say good bye.

A new kind of weapon is in.
It is killing our youth one by one.
It’s quite deceiving.
You see, it has this screen which has a wide spread eye.
One clicks shoots into one’s heart.
It’s this new era’s idea of a machete.
A new kind of weapon is in.
The thing is, it is intended to come in peace.
It becomes your best friend.
It helps you with your work.
