Simple Seed
It all started with a simple seed
You planted in my soul.
I knew right away you were all I need
You'd make my life whole.
With a little patience and time
The seed in my soul grew.
I knew everything would be just fine
I knew that I loved you.
Now the seed has grown
Into a beautiful flower.
Our love is a wondrous song
I hear it every hour.

Am i just another pretty face
that helps you escape time and place
feelings are staged and then erased
Your motives and actions are laced with hate.
So trusting with my past and thoughts
yet again I sit here alone and caught
in this web you pulled so taught
that I think I'll just lay here and rot.
Tired of the words escaping you lips
tired of your heart that seems eclipsed
Lacerated heart, so I add another stitch
yet every tear feels as though it rips.

but darkness is all

Alone
Trapped inside a balloon
a glass ball, a monsoon.
Lost among the days
weeks and months
its like a maze.
Covered by a cloud
a blanket, no sound.
Forgotten like a word
a phrase, a person, a bird.
Sheltered in a hole
like a worm, a mole.
Erased like a name
a wound, a pain.
Hidden like a flea
like a moth
like me.
- I wrote this almost 14 years ago, so when i was 12. I just wanted to share it.

A knife in my side
a tear on my cheek
why is it always
pain that i seek
without even knowing
no conscious thought
im drowning in misery and I'm the one at fault.
Cut and bleeding
alone in the floor
crawling through puddles
scratching at the door
stumbling to the window
trying to break free
running from my murderer
funny that its me.
Why must I insist
on killing myself
another dream is broken
and set upon the shelf
another scar inside
another pain to hide
i dont want to die ...

Suicide Imagined
I coward like a cat in a corner
Licking my own wounds.
The agony of pain
Makes me feel alive again.
A feeling that couldn't have come too soon.
The immeasurable cruelty of truth
Supersedes my own ability.
Rivers of blood are flowing from
My wrists!
How could I not understand my actions severity.
Slumped against the wall
The darkness sets in.
Time is not salvable.
What I have done can never be done again.

She thought she was dead
alone, as she bled
the razor still in hand
what seemed a good plan.
Waking in a room
it must've been cleaned soon
the smell of bleach burns her eyes
atleast thats her excuse for why she cries.
They say she needs sedation
but she was trying to escape the medication
another dose it seems
its like she's living the same dream.
It's like they'll never understand
even with the razor still in hand
she would rather lay down and die

Addicts Riddle
I sit here staring at you
as if i know you best.
Taunting you with misconceptions
that never let you rest.
I am your constant companion
an invasion of your privacy.
I disgust your better judgement
and still you sell yourself to me.
You rationalize and bargain with me
while you forget to feel.
You make me your business partner
and mask any emotion once real.
You lost your grip on the reigns
while we were fooling around.
Your cyclical behavior
forever has you...
as if i know you best.
