Thought I found the one,
Thought I found the anchor.
But with every step I make,
You won’t take a step closer.
Tell me if its worth it,
Tell me is there a chance?
Won’t give up this fight,
Even though I don’t stand a chance.
The cold nights calling,
It’s coming in quick.
My hands lay cold by my side,
Come keep me warm during this darkest night.

I know the moment will never be right.

Sensations flow,
Feelings grow,
Hopeful ignorance.
The hurtful blade called the truth,
Slices deep in already open wounds.
Suddenly,
Reality crashes,
The blissfulness ends.
Everything that’s loved,
Goes away in the end.
The light at the end of the tunnel,
Is it happiness or is it death?
Keep running this race,
The darkness is quick.
Nipping at my heels,
Making me trip.
“Stay strong, suck it up”,
Words of wisdom from my father….
Or so I thought.
Feeling like a broken toy,
Sitting on the...

Anything can trigger it….
A person,
A song,
A feeling,
A memory,
It doesn’t matter.
It’ll consume you no matter what….
If you let it.
I like the pain,
I like the longing,
I like the desire,
I like the warmth,
I LIKE IT ALL….
The cold blade
The warm blood.
The quick release.
The moment of peace.
Its just the feeling, isn’t it?….
Four years to stop,
Four years to grow up,
Four years to notice the problem,...

fallen angel
Fallen Angel.
The memory seems more like a never ending dream. Actually, it is a nightmare replaying constantly in my head. I close my eyes and that’s all I can see. Even after all these years. It’s like someone got a red-hot brander and seared the inside of my brain with it. I tried to drown the memories out, but they always have a way of crawling back up to the surface. Its something I have to deal with for the rest of my life.
I can’t help but look into the cold, blank eyes. The last time I saw them, they were a bright, beautiful, blue and gleaming with potential. But...

I don’t like how it hurts,
Down so deep inside.
How its like a smoldering ember,
Burning in my core.
How the sound of your name
Puts my heart in a frenzy,
The way a lump in my throat forms
Just by your sighting.
An old memory,
An old picture,
An old dream or adventure
Doesn’t seem faze your perfect façade
It shouldn’t bother me the way that it does
I should move on…at least I act like I did
But deep down inside it hurts just as bad,
Like salt in a wound
Festering and raw
