You’re the Clyde to my Bonnie; we’ll rob the world together.
Romeo and Juliet; we’ll be in fame forever.
The Clark to my Lois, discover territories.
Seejack to Vanna White; you’re in my categories.
I’ll be your Lady Macbeth, I’d murder kings for you.
Marilyn on birthdays, like how she sings for you.
Bill to Monica, I know you’d lie for me,
Antony to Cleopatra, you’d even die for me.
Adam to Eve, you’d turn your back on Heaven.
The Prince to Snow White, you don’t mind the seven
Other men hanging round they ain’t got shit on you.
Our love is...

Tropical Storm
We were outside together like so often before.
You and I were talking like so often before
We moved closer to each other like so often before
But it started getting windy like never before
And I thought that maybe I should head for the door.
The wind it moved my body like never before
So I started moving closer than ever before
You grabbed me as I started flying like never before
And you pulled me to your body like never before
And I looked at you and knew what there was in store.
You started hugging tighter like never before
But the wind...

But We Didn't
"I need to talk to you alone" said my friend Jenna
As she pulled me to my bunk and leaned her forehead towards mine.
"Josh has chlamydia," she whispered and gave me a meaningful look.
"Okay, that's too bad for him, but why are you telling me?"
"You need to get tested."
But we didn't have sex, I thought.
"But we didn't have sex."
"Yes you did. He told me. On the Fourth of July."
My mind races back to Independence Day.
I don't remember having sex with him.
I remember he drove me...

Unrequited

Of the lovers I have had, they have all been quite divided.
Some were brown-eyed; some were blue-eyed.
I’ve loved black guys and loved white guys.
By the lovers I have had, I’ve been kissed and been derided.
I’ve been elated and excited.
I’ve aroused and I’ve incited.
But of all these many men, (they’ve been beside me and inside me)
There is one who never has; I shall call him Unrequited.
And although I held him close, I sat right here beside him,
He has had such moral strength, knows...
