Dancing with the Devil
The twisted branch that anchors my heart down is dying
Slowly, each second, it turns blacker, and starts to uproot itself.
Each damn second, of every god-forsaken day, it dies a little more.
My heart was once so whole,
until the devil paid me to dance for him.
That was quite a show.
With blood gushing out of my every pore and my eyes black all over.
I thought I wasn't going to live again.
But the Devil, good old Satin, surely you know, he is my good friend.
With a sinister smile that could break me into two
he made me his...

Rum and Roofies
Pour me a big glass Mr. Bartender,
because the men here are all creeps.
Pour me another one, Mr. Bartender,
because I can still feel my feet.
Pour me another one, Mr. Bartender,
because the world is starting to spin.
Pour me another one, Mr. Bartender,
because I am going to leave with this man
who's breath smells of Gin.
Hand me the bottle, Mr. Bartender,
because it is my only friend tonight.
Call me a cab Anyone,
because I have just lost my sight.
My legs have gone limp now,

Monster
There is a dark place
A place where I have no eyes
no mouth
and no words.
I can’t cry out
because I have no breath.
The silence is so deep.
I want so badly to die
but I can’t.
The darkness and silence go on
forever.
But it is not a dream.
I don’t dream.
Totally aware
yet totally trapped.
I’m beginning to lose my mind.
I need to find a way out of here.
I’m losing time.
I fear for my life as I remember everything.
I remember everything.
Awareness
as I sit and...

I Write to Make America Right Once More
These words with in me cannot be silenced.
This passion of mine, it can’t be stopped
The creative emotion with in my mind is constantly

My hand writes the words so slowly,
It can’t keep up with these irrational thoughts.
I want to write to

The school

The town. No!

I want to write to get our soldiers home,
