Meaning
the beat is high, my soul in sync. The words coming out to set me free. My mind on fire, it speaks to me. My mind on fire, I finally see. The stars seem far but my arms can reach. It must be the loss in gravity. The words float on to soul's in need. The words live on in my memory. My mind on fire, It speaks to me. My mind on fire, the beat it breathes.

Hey, do you got a stick?
Holes, imprints, questions. Can't sleep... Sorry I'm being too loud. Everyone is screaming in my ear. Looking for the rythem but so inconsistant. What's the right word, I'm sure that's not it. street cars rush by graffitide ditches. I spelled that wrong. It's all my fault. Starbucks is just way too expensive. Lets just sit at the house and smoke instead. Frank is down for making coffee. What does this mean? Frank knows... lol funny. Wait back up I missed something. It's cool man. Hey, Do you got a stick?

Confidence....
So confident.... My reflection in the mirror, Is it me? The air feels cold, lets warm up with a Black and Mild, he said. moment to moment, flash. I'm thirsty for knowledge. I don't know what those looks mean... Are we the only ones? leaving leaving you exist in my mind. Is this really all important? Lurking from the shadows I can see the fear inside.
You walk along a pathway into the forest in your mind.
The wicked sounds of death echoing through time,
begging for your God but he’s no where in sight.
Scream like a banshee, cry to the moon, crawl

Forgotten
Moonlight shines in the cracked window, leaving its shape drawn into my eye. I reach out and trace the sky, not leaving out any details. I want to get something right. I’m not alone because I’ll always have the night skies with the stars and moon in my window to look to. I gaze at a forgotten tree, dead from years of shadow. An owl lives within it but does not leave, blind from not knowing of freedom. It hasn’t seen the tree grow but only wither in the shadows of life. A cat creeps in the dark street, looking for a home to call its own. But she’s too far-gone and will sleep in a cold grave....

This Room Seems So Familiar
This room seems so familiar.
I once lived here.
Shadows lurk in the corners...
They didn't used to.
I remember a breeze...
It used to blow at the curtains.
I thought it was your soul but that seems childish now.
The tree’s used to stand so tall.
They used to cover the sun but now they’re dead.
Do you remember how it used to be?
The moon hums a tune that only I can hear…
I know it’s there; it’s tune so dear.
I remember kneeling at my bedside.
I couldn’t hear him but I knew he was there…

Shadow
As I was walking along the riverside, the night breathing and the owl in flight, I saw my shadow, it walked alone humming a tune I used to know. Following behind I watched so blind, my shadow walk alone through time looking for the words inside but it's soul's as black as the starless sky.
The moon is hiding behind the trees, it dreams of words that would set me free. I wish I knew how the Owl can see when the moon can't rise above the trees.
