POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
Do I exist? That is hard to say, When nobody looks your way.
Knowing My Place
I am the shadow that she steps on
Following behind, stepping on heads
Her sad melody a cryptic song
Her heart hanging by a few threads
I am the whisper she tries to cry
Foolishly thinking her words will reach
They ask her, but she can only lie
They suck her life like a leech
I am the ever faking smile
Plastered on her scarred face
Her mind her place, her isle
She waits, knowing her place
Following behind, stepping on heads
Her sad melody a cryptic song
Her heart hanging by a few threads
I am the whisper she tries to cry
Foolishly thinking her words will reach
They ask her, but she can only lie
They suck her life like a leech
I am the ever faking smile
Plastered on her scarred face
Her mind her place, her isle
She waits, knowing her place

The Freedom of Chains
We speak of freedom,
But like our chains.
We are foolishly beaten.
What are our names,
Innocent children?
Consumed by flames,
In our evil kingdom.
Must stop the games,
Are we enough?
Poison in our veins,
Defeat the demon!
What could be their aims?
We are not equal,
Tripped on their remains.
Trapped in our eden,
Of ignoring our stains.
But like our chains.
We are foolishly beaten.
What are our names,
Innocent children?
Consumed by flames,
In our evil kingdom.
Must stop the games,
Are we enough?
Poison in our veins,
Defeat the demon!
What could be their aims?
We are not equal,
Tripped on their remains.
Trapped in our eden,
Of ignoring our stains.

Ourself
I'm in a cage, but the bird is free.
I'm stuck, but the bird could be me.
If I try, could I be like the bird?
Could I fly, my wings be heard?
Maybe, maybe. Maybe, I trapped myself,
In a cage of misunderstanding ourself.
I'm stuck, but the bird could be me.
If I try, could I be like the bird?
Could I fly, my wings be heard?
Maybe, maybe. Maybe, I trapped myself,
In a cage of misunderstanding ourself.

My Other Faces
"It's either me, or them," one day I said.
My psychologist looked at me funny. What?
With a blank stare I continued, "I want them dead."
The door to my chaotic mind will finally shut.
I don't know what he wanted from me,
But I could see in his eyes, he was confused.
I was sure that I was only here, because he liked money.
If he just did his job, the situation would diffuse.
But he didn't, said it was up to me.
Screw that man, he doesn't know anything.
So I did what I had too, and now it's just me.
Only my...

Who-ever I am
Who-ever I am
When I look inside
I find another me
It stares, eyes wide
As I am becoming not me
Someone has control of me
Giving me their sin
Their memories take over me
As my face turns to a grin
When I feel inside
I find another me
It doesn't bother to hide
Staring at what I shouldn't be
Something shows me emotions
That could never be mine
The longing in their devotions
It is a sure sign
I am not the me, I thought I was
I am someone...

Missing You
A girl I used to be,
I still can't believe,
That, that was me.
So small and shy,
But you taught me to fly.
Do you search the sky?
How are you, how ya been?
Remember way back when,
We were like a pair of twins.
Well, I do.
I don't know about you,
But I miss you.
Are you going to talk to me?
Send a text, please!
Or are you going to ignore me.
Still waiting for a text to send.
You talk to all our friends,
Is our friendship going to end?
Do you remember me?
I hope you will see,
This is...
I still can't believe,
That, that was me.
So small and shy,
But you taught me to fly.
Do you search the sky?
How are you, how ya been?
Remember way back when,

Who?
Where is our place?
The fear in our face.
Where is the angel's grace?
The hole. The ace.
Who are we?
Save those you can see.
Who is me?
Lost in tragedy.
Agony in the grave,
Who can we save?
Off, the disgust, we shave.
Buried in a cave.
Our eyes see stain,
but not the pain.
Thought train,
Derailed by our depression's rain.
Oh, for shame.
We question the blame,
But keep playing the game.
Just for the fame.
But isn't this our disease?
Doing things as we please,
Not caring who are we?...
The fear in our face.
Where is the angel's grace?
The hole. The ace.
Who are we?
Save those you can see.

Lost in tragedy.

Who am I?
I could be anyone,
Anyone could be me.
Me? no,
No sense of self,
Self is too hard to think of.
Of a horrid fate?
Fate does not control,
Control the emotions.
Emotions, what are they?
They are something to be scared,
Scared of to our bones.
Bones, so very weak.
Weak at our cores,
Cores filled with envy and hate.
Hate.
Hate the world,
Cores filled with envy and hate.
You, who used to be,
Be a person.
Person who I am not.
Human, I am not.
I could be anyone,

Only Yours
Kick up the dirt, defeat.
A rainbow on the concrete.
A red rainbow, so sweet.
Smeared all over the street.
Death in the gloryful win.
Guilt in the happiest grin.
Tragedy smeared in sin.
The border so thin.
The border between genius,
And the insanity consuming us.
Hatred spilling out like puss.
Venom dripping from our cus.
Everyday grows a little more hateful.
Every hour is a little more fateful.
Eternity grows distasteful.
As every war seems so wasteful.
Kick up the dirt at your feet.
The many strangers...

Multiple Personality
No every moment of my life is my time.
I have many masks, but this isn't a crime.
No one can see, the smile underneath the frown.
They like to think the world is upside-down.
I can't say they're wrong, that I'm not right.
But I can't say left, when there is a war to fight.
They don't see the truth, only a facade.
But they don't see, it's an uncontrolled masquerade.
One day I might be me, whoever I really am.
One day this person, could be buried in mind quicksand.
But still they judge, won't listen to me speak.
I...

Bloody and Broken Mirror
She stares back at me, With teary eyes,
Her wrists bleeding, and mouth chewing lies.
She stares back at me, With a crumbling soul,
A heart with cracks, and mind black as coal.
She begins to smile, So fragile and weak,
Turns into a frown, Tears stain her cheek.
Love and happiness is her only desire,
But she spat words and now she's a liar!
Hated by the world for a silly mistake,
Look at the mess you bullies can make!
Her mirror a mess on the cement floor,
She digs in shards and blood starts to pour.
She sees her reflection and a smile...
Her wrists bleeding, and mouth chewing lies.
She stares back at me, With a crumbling soul,
A heart with cracks, and mind black as coal.

Nightmares
Look in the mirror, who am I?
I don't remember who I am inside.
I could be someone, someone important.
I could be no one, an orphan.
I can't recall, this face of mine.
Who am I? I can't define.
People on the streets, bid me hello.
I reply. Are they someone I know?
They could be anyone, anyone indeed.
They could be no one, no one to me.
I can't recall their faces,
Who am I to forget their good graces.
I could be faceless and voiceless,
My good life could be choiceless.
What I hear and what I see,
Could be...
I don't remember who I am inside.
I could be someone, someone important.
