Labyrinthine
Awakened.
Everything is misery
unless you pretend,
fantasy, is where I long to be
empty in my head.
The journey down was quick.
feathers are frequent
and pounds are wasted
on flesh of twisted tongues,
lies are ears and truths are deaf,
everything comes undone
No clocks are on the walls
so time wont tell anybody.

Dream me different
and let it be,
I am the contrast
of something else
this is all fantasy,
capture me,
steal the sun
hide the moon
I have all day for doom
and gloom,
haunt the halls of this
wicked heart
keep the secrets
that broke it all apart,
I am but a shell

Faucets and Facets of Me
I turned the water on
to drown it all out
(there's something about that noise
that calms my inner fruitcake)
listening to it, washing it all away
washing it down
down

w
n
down
and then it's gone
for now,
yet something will always cause the water to be released
and make me flee to the nearest sink
to listen to it pour, to feel it kill all the pain
with just a simple rush of water
to drown it all out

Cursed words
roll off sliver tongues
to pierce my wretched heart,
burning in ways indescribable
