i love gothic, satire and dark humor in my readings. i see the sardonic side of subjects supposedly to be upbeat. i try to write what people can't say or haven't seen in a certain perspective.i love criticism. my writing is the fuel to my sanity.
OBSERVATIONAL POEM

Her Name is Grief.
Death has a wife,
Her name is Grief.
Death is a simple fellow.
He wears dark suits;
clean, crisp, and tailor-cut.
Grief dresses in bright colors;
She is a people-pleasing person.
She always holds two baskets:
Her right hand holds Comfort,
Her left hand holds Release.
But over one eye-socket, she wear a patch.
Death has taken this eye
So Grief follows him everywhere.
She does not mind.
Grief is the mother to many children.
Her gentle hands are daggers,
Cutting deeper into every wound.
She cleans out the pus and grit.
Grief...

these hands that boiled water
molded their faces from my dreams
how tempting were those seraphim
iridescent shadowy wings
i heard an old door laugh
as the chapel bells rang
it said, "careful,
hypocrites beware!"
my heart felt thanks
to the hatred of my adversary
wondering happily
how can that be
i wished to goodness
i were a fish
envy the simplicity
of a guppy
and yet i mourn the least
chartered waters
outside the aquariums'
florescent lightning

Ignorant Bliss
who would want to know
they love a taboo
instead of thriving
in the ignorance with bliss
i am one such bliss
which coddles each one of
my lovers; every breathing
masculine thing to the end
their scent awakens the primal
but still i find the sweetest musk
i anticipate the ecstasy
in tasting their awaiting flesh
"don't play with your food,"
momma said
"love them. it keeps the babies warm."

human men are perfect

Wordly Versus.
Drown in a rook
That is shattered and sore
Forgiven bishops
and their shiny decor.
Swindling glass
Pricey Paper mache'
Litter their own
downtrodden graves.
Burn the ignorant
Relishing their sores
Still their hungry eyes
Savor the scorch
Materialistic pawns
feed the Morning Star.
Black pieces have
jumped the White Queen.
That is shattered and sore
Forgiven bishops

Grief, the Comforter.
The isle of her heart
drifts apart
Casting away from
her beloved hand.
Her amputated joy
Tangled in sorrow's noose
Grief, cradle this child
Within your satin glove.
Kneeling, rocking
Moaning rhythm.
The metronome grounds
Deep in this dark chasm
Murky, shallow tears
Mortified, glistening snot
Unsettling dishevelment
Begging any entity a kindling ear
Unsolved riddles
Doubts of life; unleash in
A furious, frenzied flood
That can never bring solace.

Livid Beauty
Seen from afar, looming beneath the stars
Her burning tears fall in slow, searing drips
Dark'ning bruises silhouette into scars
From metallic puddles into red lips
Her pale skin bathed in a nasturtium bed
Wounds are filled with sands of an hourglass
Surely she is the sweetest smelling dead
Though she is still as the dark, solemn grass
My sweet paradise in purgatory
Embracing the blist'ring brink of the mourn
My heart's benevolent eternity
Kissing the onslaught of a lonely storm
Be my forever, dear livid beauty
