POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Successpool; For the Infirm.
When the rare occurrence unfolds,
of the answers overlapping the answers we need,
What good becomes of us?
Our burdens trap us in binding spells,
Keeping us blinded to the art that is ourselves.
Well I don't know if I can stand this much longer.
The patience we had in those days of old
Has been muffled by the march of our impatient bones,
Bye bye to the light,
Save your breath for when we decimate the buildings we made.
Sharpening the beak, breaking and entering.
Casualties make no such sense of worry,
cowards will kill everyone in...

Theoreticalsius; No Rhyme Or Reason.
Unconcerned about your dieting habits.
Lifejackets made of tissue paper,
and kissed for a little luck.
Wide-open ranges kept tidy for the filthy,
Holding onto a key to a lock you'll someday open.
Rest assured, you'll be forgiven.
Every hour is another stepping stone to your end.
Pray to God, you pray too much.
You hold onto a hand that you never once believed in.
Your foundation is a little unstable at best.
When will you learn that God does not revolve around you?
Plagues keep pestilence at bay,
claiming the pure of heart to suffice for the...

Riot Gear Built into your Home.
Born from a struggle,
and we won't give in.
Taught from an outdated book,
I won't ever be given the chance to win.
Compasses with the points chewed off,
Where will we fit in?
Destinations ending before the journey's started,
When will we belong?
Witness our own obsoletion.
Self destruction never felt so right.
Medicate myself. Medication.
I'll try to fight off a dragon of pills.
I lost my helmet, now my heads at risk
I'm too comfortable in my own skin.
and we won't give in.

Phenomenonsense; Things Start to Change
I mistook your eyes for your stomach, ravenous.
There's nothing left for you to keep to yourself.
Keep prancing around,
carrying your parent's weight upon your back
Lingering around the same old places,
eating every pill in sight.
I don't believe in you any longer.
Mirrors made of paper,
you stare at drawings that make no sense.
You speak in foreign tongues.
Words I've only heard about in books.
Screams I've had the pleasure of hearing more than once.
Congregations seem to make no difference.
Allegiance is another word for illusion....

Donner and Blitzen.
What use is a shield when you're not at war?
What good is harboring a grudge you paid double for?
I guess I lack in compassion, and I don't respect the dead.
I'm guessing arguments are invalid, the judgement rests.
Keep in line, do not try to coincide.
Surrender your weapons, where do you belong?
Take the dagger to your neck.
Let the blood choke you up,
Swallow hard, swallow it all back.
Enter the modern places kept all tidy for the sick.
The Rapture's coming, the raptor's hungry,
come midnight, you'll be cleansed of worry.
Fear is a path that I...
