It starts, so they say, with a change or driftin mood, a cloud above or tarantula in the corner,
a slow knocking, dropping, drifting over to the sides of our so calledsociety.
A few more drinks after work, a few more smokes round the bike
sheds, a few more whores outside of the matrimonial bedroom, nights lost in
front of WOW with dirty socks covering your phone on the floor.
Just a bit more exercise, start one day at atime, read and start to do your recycling,
who are we kidding, these people wont find their inner strength.
Meditate, breathe and don’t...

help me on my way
just a line of k to help me on my way
droplets slither from my facial crevices
it helps me on my way, its a brighter day
figure this it was once just for my fun
this line of regretamine i love you
trickle from my nose, spit from burning eyes
at least i dont shoot up the golden brown
i feel so down without you there close by
fare thee well i must say, be good to myself
is it fair to say an addict needs time
a mourning shall follow, do you dare swallow
pride will fall, lust will shatter,love will die
but only you sir addict can learn to fly.

A feast from across the way
There is something about you
I don't have a lot to say
But I know I want you
How will you hold on,
Will you pull my hair?
Could you know, how!
How to push me just so?
There you go again
You don't even know I see
Who are you performing for
Just perhaps, maybe it's me.
Would you stroke my thighs
Tease to a point of distraction
Wind me up and make me bounce
Be warned i'll make you shiver
I'm lost in your wake
Holding onto my chair
If I move now, I swear! ...

It happened again or am I going crazy?
A word that's claws are in my sted.
My hair let down beneath the crown
I swear the sun held my hand that day
A smile shared, a loose hand brushed by
Danced the night away, fearful of your voice
A signal from a satellite somehow like a knife.
You are a jealous monster who will not be tamed
A witch may curse, a friend may cry, but a mother
Now thats not right!
I've heard it all before and still you try
Good day dear daughter, I may not be here again.
How many times must hear it, before...

Forget-me-nots looped in a noose
Hang around my neck
No way up to the pool
When did the beast of lust fall
Down below into this peat
Words stuck in my throat
Thrown out to sea in a boat
Where the strangest of creatures roam
I no longer know how to create.

did it happen like this I was asked years later
I never quite understood why.
They kept it quiet for such a long time
Then I was asked through a grin
"want to see something nasty?'
Moving through the first autumn leaves
led by the youngster id watched grow
I couldn't see, it was dark
But the sun was blazing
I saw cans and rubbish
It smells, I drew back
'No, you have to see, you came'
I heard a plea from my little wizard
Pushed and stumbling I saw
The hair on crushed cans
Oh the smell, what is this?
I cried that night after the phone rang

When faith is an excuse
Its just a set of beliefs
Yet still you stand indignant
Ravenous for confirmation
Bound in endless reason
How and will you stand?
To be counted, judged.
Love alone forever
Beaten down, self torture
Faith is a blanket
the blind are led by it
I don't see it as weakness
Nay, stubbornness til the end
A miracle becomes your suit
Bent and corrupted
Translated for your own demise
Here I stand empty, with open arms.
Yet still you stand indignant

all the same
Cast out the line
No longer roll the joint
Free the noose
From around my throat
Normal I stand
Earning pennies
An honest living
Neck hurts, know why?
Over my shoulder
Down that long road
I'll chase that feeling
Til all sleep well
Forget-me-nots wilting
who have I left behind
The rope is tightening
I'm not sure how to let go.

luring me me in, yet

Bop the Brixton Pixie
Lithe, limber and frisky is Bop
He pranced where his elders daren't even glance
Whisked up in 'human', the forbidden fruit!
Bop dreamt of Bohemia and wanted freedom of choice
Our pixie is sweet
Fascination his best liqueur
Brewed by Brixton streets
His guiltless heart forgotten
Faint willed he is not, our Bop
Sought out through purpose, a souls pa
Headaches begun, our little hero just wants a day away!
Dreams are hard work, our Bop has grown up
Our pixie is jaded

I felt it this morning
The pulse of Mondays Cities and Roads
Creaking their bones, shaking their tales
The rural lands, mock our frantic minds
Pacing out and breathing in deep rolling hills.
The young boy, in his zappa
Needs his fix of base to go on
The suit, over there
A quick sniff to take the day on
The child, just a smile and a song
And the day has begun.
The feline has caught it too
Reflections of life in her paw
A shiver, a whisper, oops
Now I see, she has crept in
Cynicism a dear friend to me
