Big or Small
One looks down on us two
I talk to Him so much more
Now distractions are few
beyond this bloody door
He watches as I cry
You casually sink and drowned
Believing you'll fly
You block out my sound
One hears my song
You ceased to hear
He knew all along
And granted you each tear
One views sunrise and sunset
From somewhere unseen
Feeling whose cheeks are wet
Knowing where we've been
One shelters each night
And strengthens each day
He won't make it alright
but gladly lights the way
One offers an ear if you call...

Awaken
I know I'm awake
cause I'm screaming
come daybreak
no-one's dreaming.
Open the curtain
become the unheard.
Though certain
I'm undisturbed.
It is hard to believe
a thin disguise
soon to leave
with only eyes.
Barely able to conceal
with sleepy mist
everything real
I somehow missed.

Wreckage
Rancid blood surging onward escaping
tormented mind
racing toward bitter heart
before trickling down to knotted organs
lingering, caressing barren womb
thickening soup of wreckage
sluggish tears of scars clinging

Rope
Sunlight scorch my roots
Speed my decent
These branches brittle...bent
No bird dare roost
Rain drowned all hope
Sweep away concern
I've nothing left to learn
I'd rather be rope
It is meant to tie and hold
Created to bind
Never unkind
Easily bought
Rarely sold
Every single thread
Within a tight weave
Of another who cannot leave
Then alone in my head
Speed my decent

A better Tomorrow
How many tears do You cry
When thousands of Your Children die
Some had no place to flee
Yet I am told You love Me
Did You love Those
With no where to hide
In poverty and alone
The day They died?
You are all that has
Ever begun
Don't You love
Each and Everyone?
Why let Them
Be blindly swept away?
Can't You offer Your
Light of day?
Fleshly death
May concern
But what of this Hell
In which We burn?
Some live eternally
With only peace and
Love to see
There is far too much
Diversity
For our Races to...

LOVE POEM

Casualty of Love
Memories are like war,
many casualties;
regrets.
Unknown possibilities,
endless uncertainties.
What makes me recall?
Can I truly forget?
If every memory I rejected
as lies, as non existent flies;
which cannot bounce around
my empty mind
casting shadows,
when left behind.
Then would ignorant bliss
replace my longing to reminisce?
Today like yesterday,
I must decide;
If in our memory
I will hide.
If all hope has truly died,
let memories die too;
as lately there are so few
that resemble you.

Gone to Soon
The pregnant sky drinks
up the sea,
and guzzles and gulps
to be free.
The trees clutch the earth
and are,
ever-reaching to join
a star.
The rivers rage inhaling
a path,
full of life free
of wrath.
Clouds beckon with fluffy
claws,
devoured within their puffy
paws.
The lakes must also
fly,
leave earth and join
sky.
The angry
sun,
fills every
one.
All but the
moon,
are gone to
soon.

Unmade
Somewhere along
the way,
I left the light
of day.
I felt safe
in its embrace,
now darkness
is all I face.
Deep inside
my sinful abode,
I travel a dark
and weary road.
For all who
go there,
will find
despair.
Waiting
in evil silence,
behind
an old fence.
Grinning
with glee,
for none
can see.
The darkness
is looming,
the path
is consuming.
All that
you really are,
tears fall
from afar.
yet you
will not hear,
that
enormous tear.
No, nor will
you...
the way,
I left the light
of day.
I felt safe

As I searched For You
I promised myself,
that promise could have saved me.
I sought wisdom,
It sat hiding in the dark crevices of mind.
I captured hope,
while gathering remnants to cold to touch.
I created glue,
forging a collage of our memories.
I released fire,
and consumed the tears of yesterday.
I promised myself,
freedom to live.
I betrayed my soul,
as I searched for you.
that promise could have saved me.

Thing Called Love
I wish you'd hold me and never let me go,
no other arms could make me feel so.
My flesh betrays my sense of wanting to much,
it pains me to quiver at your slightest touch.
I tremble through restrained desire,
burning, screaming, imprisoned fire.
Alone in passion,
frozen by the sun.
I scramble to conceal my shame,
silencing one with no name.
Fears and insecurities,
you couldn't appease.
Crushed beneath rejection,
no other thoughts get in.
Life becomes trivial, worthless-
like a package you never undress.
The covering appeals...

OBSERVATIONAL POEM

Unfathomable Life
This world teaming with unfathomable life
inciting all to wonder and amazement
has humbled me and suddenly I am so insignificant
my tears seem comical in their incompetence.
Emotion is the invisible invader which inspires
creation and destruction as
a blank page set before me like promised candy-
I am drawn.
Pride in appearance and sound stirs
bile surfacing, squelching my desires of
daydreams in the grandeur of egotistical therapy
silencing the captor of my soul.
Motives to be dissected and displayed
in loneliness scream at...
