Train-wrecked Brain
Look at me, I'm a wreck!
Sleep deprivation,
Love starvation,
Forgetting to take fresh inhalations
What the Heck!
I wanna grab myself by the neck
And squeeze
Or is that just another side effect
Of loving you? Please!
Fix my train!
Or was it my brain?
Either way
Don't go away!
I'm a wreck!
And I would like to check
Out of this mess...

I get my strength from cold places
One is only as weak as they allow themselves to be, one is only as strong as they force themselves to be
But from what I can see
One can't become strong just by trying to act strong
One can only heat steel for so long
After a while it will simply melt
To be strong, like steel, one must be constantly be dealt alternating and changing amounts of heat in the fire of. Love and positive thoughts
then quenched and hardened in the cold icy water of pain and loss
The world's strongest people are the ones who face the average highs of life and then face the worst possible...
But from what I can see

Hope is lost but my heart doesn't know
Hope is now lost.
But my heart doesn't know.
It continues to love you no matter the cost.
My mind wants to go
It knows the deal
But it won't change how I feel
Because my mind has long since lost control
Of it's own thoughts
Sometimes I wish I could scrape my thoughts into a bowl
And pick out the unwanted ones and leave them to rot
You love him not me
My heart just can't see
Why yours won't stay beside it
My mind wonders what happens in yours
Bit by bit
Board by board
I build my own coffin
All hope is lost.
But my heart...
But my heart doesn't know.
It continues to love you no matter the cost.
My mind wants to go

Marijuana
Call it what you will
Weed, Bud, Pot, Ganja…
Tree…
Whatever you call it, when you smoke Marijuana with me
Things are real chill
One time I was smoking with my cat, Bootsie
And I taught her how to roll a Doobie
When I smoked it she barked so I called her Scooby
Marijuana is my best friend forever
Mary Jane, I love her
Marijuana and me…
We’ll be together for eternity

Smoke some more
Smoke some more
It ain’t like we’re poor
We got all the things we need
And I’ve got plenty of weed
Life is like a giant bud
And every living thing is a little speck of amazing
Everything from a cow chewing cud
To the flapping
Of butterfly wings
In the right situation
Can cause the world to change
Damn, I think this weed is starting to affect my brain
I guess that’s why it’s called the train wreck strain
So if a cow and a butterfly can make the world change
What can one stoner do?

More WEED, Less GREED
“This world could use a little more weed, and a lot less greed.”
Said my stoner friend, as he picked a seed
From his yet to be rolled joint
I agreed
And said “you have a point”
As I sat on my ass
In the unkempt grass
Behind his shed
He finished rolling and said
“Here, you take the first hit…”
……………………………………………….
As we smoked, and talked about stoner things, it came to me, but got lost for a bit
That at least when it came to real shit
My friend was a man who would practice that which he would preach
A week...
