The sun slowly dipping behind the glaze covered horizon,
As the darkness slowly consumes the land below,
Along with my heart.

No where to turn as the cold frozen air
Creeps into my soul
And douses the fire that once burned bright.

No where to run as my soulless demons
Chase me along dark narrow ally ways,
And behind the building that I once inhabited
Along with happy smiles and cheerful laughter
That is now only a ghost of my past.

I walk along broken and beaten
By my horrific past,
But my future doesn't look much brighter....
