Whilst I wistfully wonder what to write
Wishing & willing what wanders my way
Welcoming what will be worthy & win
What words will I write?
Weaving whispers within webs
Whilst wrapping wishes on walls
Whilst we wait we then wonder
What words will I write?
Will they be of the wisdom you want
warrant the wait in their weight?
Well what you see written
Are the only words I can write…

Perfume
I will always remember, yes, trust me..
I've tried to forget
Every tease, torment, taunt, taught
the lesson, the one, I epic-ally failed
I hated every moment I was telling little lies.
I admit, I cared.
Only now the truth has evaporated
into an air of apathy & indifference

Keep Calm
Keep Calm
I gulp I gasp I choke I chant
Only to be saved by a swallow
I hypnotize I hypocrisies I dream I deny
Only when officiating the mourning of mornings
my body balances : my mind meanders..
I exercise my anxiety I clothe I meditate my mind
The performance presents the participation of a pause
I show case stage fright I sequester I summon the night
The time the tyranny the tick tock tick the torment
My mind misplaced : My body embraced
I whisper I procrastinate
I sleep I sleepwalk
I slumber
...

MISCELLANEOUS POEM

Direction
You shut the door and trace the steps
that lead you round the corner and
directly to the door of your destination..
You enter the library to plot the papers
that navigate and lead you to your finals
predicting the course of the nearby future..
You find direction and take the route
that has no detours and roadblocks
travelling to complete the journey..
You find focus and follow the path
That allows you to finally arrive
In the opposite direction of lost..

Centre Stage
He sees me not, thinks of me not
So I seek solace in the shadows
Holding the simple truths hostage
simply seasoning the fuel of denial
I’ve let go, he can’t let go
So he feigns simple ignorance
evading the massacre of emotion
the very catalyst that sets me free
We witness, not welcome this moment
The tormented cacophony of truth
silently suspended in echoed silence
that paralyses ‘us’ in a picture frame
Fate recoded our cue, Karma eroded
Soliciting...

Turning Time..Awaiting our Anniversary
Time teases and takes its’ own sweet time to torment me
Whilst I perfect a pout, practise patience and remain plagued
I count, chant, collect, create and call for calm, I cast out chaos
I search for signs that signal, spell out and summon new seasons
Choosing only to celebrate when the cycle is complete
Mandatory movements map out motions in minute milestones
Somehow I am still stung scarred stained by our spell of a story
Restless I religiously resort to rituals to restore some reason
Keeping calm and collected I complete the calibration of my...

This Insanity
The insanity that leads one to use profanity
And ultimately gets you caught in a web of vanity
Questioning your very unstable sense of sanity
Encourages and invites a motion that ends in a calamity
It’s the acknowledgement of the notion
That allows this course to take promotion
Signed and sealed with a lubricated lotion
That ensures a this very unstable commotion
All at once it grants all actions permission
Even though the event should stay in remission

Once again…Once More
Where to begin " proclaim its not you " just me
You were all I wished you could be
Will that help - set you free?
Please don’t beg, please don’t plea..
There’s no point in asking once again “why”
And you know me I won’t lie
Gently cutting the cord, severing the tie
Whilst gently whispering my final “good bye”
We’ll always have these moments, imprinted and set
Lest you are worried that maybe I might forget
So there’s no need to curse the day we met
I promise I leave with no thoughts of regret

You’re the stain that scars the silence
Evidently echoed in everyone’s eyes
The whispers articulate the evidence
That results in my elegant demise.
It is the shadow that tailgates the night
Annihilating every anchor I have in sight
The catalyst that induced instant confusion
Right from the start of your epic intrusion
The remains of your anarchy are engraved
Unrepentant steadfast they remain
So I surrender seeking shelter for my shame
Allowing only my suspicions to be...

The Tapestry of Your Mind
I stitch seams of stories sewn in stains
tracing their timeline in turbulent tones
navigating the news now naked & exposed
on the doorstep of your mysterious mind
entranced engaged and entering earnestly
lead on lacy labyrinth’s of leading lines
absent and abstract artfully you engage
the collective webs of words we weave
the pattern of pictures performs patiently
retrieved restored read out unrestricted
excerpts and examples of everyone but you
cleverly casting cloaks keeping you uncaptured
soldiers of twine...

Mind Mapping
font=Trebuchet MS]My heartbeat echoes a motionless metronome
With only an offshore wind to bring it back home
Inside my mind the weight of my thoughts drone
At once setting the mood the moment the tone
Tracing every wall branding every surface with marks
This is no longer the sheltered haven where my mind parks
I try recall what sent us out of orbit & led us astray
Dunno however this is no longer a place of innocent play
