Poem to the one I love
My darkness was coming.
Coming to engulf me in black.
Then a bright light appeared.
Kissing my scars, telling me I'm still beautiful.
The light eventually began to darken.
Causing more scars, and telling me I'm worthless.
The light that once saved me,
Is now killing me.

Congratulations Society.
She sat alone,
Alone at home,
Where her screams where silent,
But her mind was violent.
Her insecurities hid deep inside
And they did indeed eat her alive.
A tear rolled down her face,
As her heart began to race.
She took her blade and tore her skin,
where her depression lied deep within.
This went on for days, months, years,
And until she cried her very last tears.
She decided that she had enough,
The world around her was much too tough.
She took a gun to her head.

Alone at home,

Fake smile.
Tired eyes.
Cut wrists.
Bruised thighs.

Rope tied.
Gun loaded.

Sitting at her desk.
She knows its time to go.
She’s tired, so very tired.
She goes to get the rope…
Or the knife…
Or anything she chooses.
Because she is just that desperate to leave.
No ones home
It’s the perfect time.
She’s ready.
If she doesn’t do it now she’s going to hate herself even more.
No one knows.
No one will know.
Until later…
She gets the video camera, along with a chair.
She decides on the rope.
She’ll be gone instantly.
There will be no noise.
With one side of the...

People Call Me
People call me anorexic because I don't eat lunch at school.
What they don't understand is the sport I do demands for me to be light.
People call me a slut because I have dated a lot of guys. I just haven't found love.
People call me a bitch because I have good comebacks. When I'm pissed I aromatically become a fast thinker.
People call me popular because I have a lot of friends. I am a friendly person.
Call me what you want.
You don't understand.
So do as you please.
I won't stop you.

The Real Me, The Fake Me
The real me
Is crazy,
Fun,
Weird,
Awkward,
And a nerd
I only show the real me to close friends who have equal weirdness.
The fake me
Is cool,
Mature,
Popular,
And doesn't put up with nerds
I show the fake me to everyone, hoping to fit in.

Are two different people who would hate each other.
I try to stay real.
But pressure kicks in.

No warning
You just left saying remember the good times
The sleepovers
The rehearsals
The trips to target
And all the cookie dough ice cream
I'm not mad
Though you left me in tears
Realizing I didn't see
Those feelings you kept bottled up
I'm so sorry I didn't realize
You said to keep it a secret so I will

You better get the help you need
