The Lord's Prayer (Revised)
Now I lay me down to sleep.
There is no Lord, my soul will not keep.
Let me die before I wake,
I am a traitor, my soul forsaked.
Life is not fair, this I know.
Maybe to hell my soul will go.
I know not what the future holds,
but who will hold me when my body turns cold?
Onward, go forth thine own spirit.
For your perilous journey a candle has been lit.
I know now that before you know it's over.
My mind is cruel like the Demon of Dover.
Time to leave, this world I'll miss.
Sorry to say, blackness is Bliss.

A Breath of Fresh Air
I have the key in my hand.
If only I could reach the lock.
The bars are rattling
and I am battling
to get out.
I can see the end of the maze,
but the last turn is a fork.
Venture on if you dare
though for fresh air
I would kill.
It's stuffy in here,
the air is so stale.
I would love it to death
to get just one freedom breath
from outside.
I know you truly don't care,
but I need a breath of fresh air.

A Ritual of Mundane Proportions
Hello friend... long time no see.
Shall we ruin my sense of vanity?
Slice- you're worthless
Cut- you're nothing
Slash- you're garbage
Slit- just die
Everyday the process is the same.
They shout insults as I go insane.
Is it so bad I agree with them instead?
Is it so terrible to agree with voices in your head?

I guess it's universal payback for all I've done.
I've always played with male emotions, it was so much fun.
Unfortunately I let my heart soften.
A kind of paradise that doesn't happen to often.
But this vulnerable heart, I placed in your hands,
and I knew you'd break it anyway you can.
Is this how I made others feel?
A huge sense of pain with no way to heal.
I feel myself cracking and breaking,

A Frozen Heart
Our kingdom has gone asunder,
They're rolling in do you hear the thunder.
They're coming to overthrow my brain,
put someone else in charge? That's insane!
The heart is weak give it the test
Miserably it fails just like the rest.
If you think I'm cold well thats just nice,
let me poem speak a heart made of ice.
No longer it sends warm blood through my veins more like liquid nitrogen to lessen the pain. Because I'm frozen and if you still doubt,
your cold dead body I could care less about.

The Stranger In The Suit
The mysterious man rolls through.
He comes like a foreboding wind.
He walks tentatively, as decieving ones do.
I notice him watching all we do.
Studying and always calculating.
This is the stranger in the suit.
He's so finely dressed, no one thinks different.
No human mind could even ponder,
About the chaos and destruction he was bent.
One by one they all disappeared,
Every citizen in my town.
Until literally their heads did rear,
Scattered on the ground.
Then the horror struck, terrible it was. ...

I've Changed My Addiction
The blade is gone
I still continue on.
I see it there taunting, flaunting, daunting.
Just daring me to give in.

This is my confessional,
It's a little unconventional,
but hey, it's my problem anyway.
How do I say it? I've given in.
To a different kind of sin.
I decided to drink my them away,
maybe they'll come back someday.
For now I'm in a stupor. That I can't turn back from.
I am drinking to go home.
I drink to keep my head alone.
I do enjoy casual conversations.
My mind is unnatural conservation....

The first ripple in the water,
maybe you shouldn't bother
trying to go swimming today.
I have nothing to hide
under the aqueous tides.
Definitely don't swim to the bottom.

a sorry soul transformed

I'll deprogram before I become a robot.
Being different is what I have sought.
