Embers: Encore My Love
Smouldering embers of our love, invisible heat,
memories burn in the untouchable flames of lost love.
Its apparent, the jaunt is over.
Our jilted reflections
side by side,
concede all is spent,
as the overflow gently subsides.
Complimenting the moment, we embrace,
breathing our bodies, feeling, tasting each breath,
counting every blink,
praising love with salty lips.
On the shores of Bora Bora,
fugitives in paradise,
succumbed to peace,
incited by love, we are in love,
we are truly consumed.
So we...

Embers: To get her Wet
The embers lay scattered
like sleeping hearts.
We chuckle together
hands locked in stride
whispering secrets about the sun’s lovers,
relishing in her way
before the winter years loom.
I’m tethered by a smile
that would possess an endless summer’s day,
for at this moment
winter I know not yet.
The signs we do not heed,
you take me in.
Into a gentler place, where
in the narrow divides we hide,
yet naïve, our feet reveal the truth.
You take off my clothes.
I peel away the binds
to free your...

The Canonized Nightmares of a Life Once Too Gruesome to Bear
To whom that awaits in the shadows,
Goodnight.
I can no longer harbour your anger,
I do not wish to inflict your burden upon others.
There shall be no more horrors,
No more pain;
The madness must cease.
A great sleep awaits this retched soul.
Wash away my demons in these tears,
Cast away like forgotten grains of sand,
Swept aloft and buried by the winds.
I do not want forgiveness,
I want peace.
Goodnight.
I can no longer harbour your anger,
I do not wish to inflict your burden upon others.
There shall be no more horrors,
No more pain;
The madness must cease.
A great sleep awaits this retched soul.
Wash away my demons in these tears,
Cast away like forgotten grains of sand,
Swept aloft and buried by the winds.
I do not want forgiveness,
I want peace.
