POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
rapture
when i hold you, eyes sway
to the heartbeat, pressed near
glisten like stars, in the night
rise from the depths, holding me
to the heartbeat, pressed near
glisten like stars, in the night
rise from the depths, holding me

grey
today i woke up sucking my thumb
got up, got dressed
the mundane routine
stumble out to the street again
strangers eagerly waltzing by me
grey, everything is grey
the clouds look dark and heavy
like they want to rain but can't
they speak to me
but no one understands
they sing to me
like a small town church choir
they tell me of their hopes and dreams
one wants to be our own messiah
they tell me everything
but people don't understand
the clouds tell me they want lightning
to release them, jolt them into...

she's too much for her mirror (i gaze)
she stands still, and i gaze.
"i love her stomach" say I.
her face scrunches up with cute wrinkles hiding her scorn.
i gaze again, caught up in the mood. i love her feet, even though i hate my own. her arms, legs and breasts entrance my eyes with their elegance.
how could one so wonderous hate her own beauty, the thought passes through my mind.
she's too much for her mirror.
i choose not to judge the path of reason that she walks, but gaze with adoration in my soul.
her blue veins, her soft white skin, her complete and unknown grace,...

white wolves in the snow
when i walk without you
a ghost follows in your wake
but it does not conceal
the tender glances that i crave
when the snow storm surrounds you
in the morning i'll call for you
what might have been lost
haunts me
and when i lay down to rest
i feel a broken sense of wonder
without you there, with my eyes
a longing breathes to mourn
with the white wolves around you
when the snow melts, i'll be with you
what might have been lost
haunts me

crown led bulge
you say you can't control
the way the tables turned
you just sit there on your throne
saying powers not important
but it screws your soul out dry
you say you are a victim
as mistreated as the rest
but the lies make you stink
as you sit there on your throne
saying you have scars to show us
you lie you feel the same
saying things we want to hear
hoping that you'll get a small bit more
to fill your swelling carcass
you make us sick
you say you have the answer
for every bullet, every hunger
but it's all a farce...

she haunts me
when i hold her in my dreams
she crys
when i close my mind, her halo
blinds me
her eyes filled with white roses
wither down with lost faith
now
as i breathe
my lips crack with dust
as i walk
through the streets filled with fools
she haunts me
hesitating once more
i pray
i can't lie
as she hits me
as she spits
as she hurls
as she looks me straight in the eye
and declares herself the queen
i can't lie
she haunts me
she crys
when i close my mind, her halo
blinds me
her eyes filled with white roses
wither down with lost faith
now
as i breathe
my lips crack with dust
as i walk
through the streets filled with fools
she haunts me
hesitating once more
i pray
i can't lie

my daylight sleeps
when your away
my daylight sleeps
but when your near
it sears through my veins
i mean you no harm
i just want to hold you close
you whisper under my skin
nestling in the undergrowth
biting back the bounderies
kissing all the bruises
when your away
my daylight sleeps
the candles burn slow
but smell of gentle wishes
torturing me, playfully
in a bed, in a dream
i mean you no harm
i just want to hold you close
shivering in the sun
my daylight sleeps
but sunset brings you calling
and i know you'll...

as windows close
eyes tremble
swallowed in the snow
to you a simple answer
beneath the ruined gaze
the forest sleeps in suffering
as windows close
silence
then sorrow
silence
then a sudden gesture in disarray
eyes quiver
fill them till you feel him close
a lone figure struggles
through the autumn rain
all for this, you wait
as windows close
muffled
then chained
muffled
then a twitch fails to shed a tear
eyes blink
longing for the next breath
shadows branch up, through the storm
as dreams that always scratch...
