What Happened to Us?
We used to laugh at every silly thing we saw
We used to share every secret no matter how small.
You were the one I went to when I needed someone
But everything has changed and what we shared is long gone

We said we'd never drift apart.

Growing Apart
I've been thinking about you lately,
can't get you off my mind.
Been thinking about those memories,
the ones you've left behind.
Why did you leave me here alone?
We were supposed to conquer the world together.
Guess you don't want me anymore,
didn't think there was an end to our "forever."
Trying hard to forget the memories
that seem permanently branded in my heart.
What happened to us,
how did we grow apart?
can't get you off my mind.

Lie to Me
I sense a profound sadness inside of me,
Deep pain inside my chest,
Constantly holding back my tears,
Gathering up, being repressed.
I ache for attention,
Crave the affection of others,
But I know no one truly wants me
So why even bother?
So I'll quench this desire,
Quench it with meaningless sex.
Doesn't matter who it's with,
Whose up next?
Just swear you'll tell me lies,
Make me believe you love me though I know it won't be true.
Leave in the morning,
and say you'll call me soon.

Falling Out of Love With You
Your golden eyes used to leave me breathless
The intensity of your stare mesmerized,
But lately the spark that once existed, has faded
And the butterflies no longer arrive
Saying those three words is now hard to do
Are you to blame?
I sense a distance between us,
Am I the one who's changed?
So much confusion
I don't want this to be true
But I just have to admit
That I'm falling out of love with you

Obsession
I am so stupid
believing everything he says,
he lies to me about everything
just to get me into bed.
I feel shame for what I've done,
but I'm addicted to his touch.
Honestly, I believe this is love
though deep inside I know he doesn't care for me much.
This love is built on his lies
and my never ending "love" for him.
This obsession I feel is ruining my sanity,
but I love the way he makes me his..

Alive Once More
I am no longer lost,
now that I have you I can breathe again,
feel again, live again.
Everything used to go by slowly,
making me miserable before,
but now that I have you, everything is colorful.
Your smile shines bright like the sun,
your eyes bring warmth to my heart, my soul,
your voice is sweet music to my ears, mesmerising.
You are everything I have wanted, craved.
Stay by my side and whisper those sweet words, "I love you darling."
I am eternally yours.

As she looks into the mirror
she sees, she sees how others see her,
golden eyes, plump lips, long soft black hair.
Beautiful, they say.
They don't see the ugliness,
they don't see the uncleaness within,
they don't see the real her.
Hideous, ugly, souless,

Always Tortured
barrier that separates us
melt away, let us be
i'm always standing in the shadows
he never seems to see me
his gray-green eyes always searching
never seeming to find
what he wants in this dark cruel world
someone with whom he can confide
always searching, never finding
the point to his life
i watch him become more and more depressed
with his failed attempts to fly
away from everthing he's lost
in his life
he sits all alone in the dark
waiting for reason to arrive
hoping he'll live happily somehow
although he's dead...

Loneliness
feeling so lonely in this judgemental world
truth must be hidden, lies must be told
being yelled at for trying my best
wondering if i should just give it a rest
will never live up to what they want anyways
maybe i should just leave and go my own way
blade draws feelings of sorrow on my wrists
i imagine it feels like a sweet loving kiss
blood oozes out and falls to the floor
i imagine i'm dead and feel pain no more
feeling so peaceful but...something is wrong
something or someone for whom i long
to have in my arms to hug and to kiss

Vulnerability
he pushes her down
she falls to the ground
he wonders why
she won't scream or cry
seeing her there lying on the floor
makes him want her even more
vulnerability is what makes him happy
pain is his high
bringing pain to her world makes him feel alive
she stays on the ground
not even bothering to fight
she's been so damaged
she's already dead inside
she does what he wants
she doesn't think for herself
she endures the pain
and thinks of nothing else
she wants to escape
but she knows its no use
cuz she'll return to this...
