i am new to the writeings of poetry and am looking mabey one day of putting together a book of poems and would love for comments on improvments on mine i always say that there is always room for improvment

Life to Death
Why do we live if we know we must die?
Why is it so hard to deal with the death in life?
The pain that comes with the death of others never leaves the heart
The healing never seems to happen it never has a start
We live we die
It's always so hard
To know when its time
It hurts us all at heart
We never never truly heal
Nor do we ever truly forget
The pain and the longing strife
We never truly understand
The death that comes with life
Why is it so hard to deal with the death in life?

to lust for life and evy death
In the midst of youth you lust for life
a young life without great strife
as one grows and begins to live
they see the world
and know great pain
and great loss
there is no stopping they ways of the world
as they continue to learn and grow
the lust can grow
as the seeds of life sow
but there are those that seep
that the pain can be great
there are those
who envy the peace of the great fate
they live on
as the pain grows more and more
thus they are so envious
they take their own life.

forever lost
When we lose someone close
All we do is cry
the sadness we feel
we all can not deny
their presence is lost
to all we see
we cant find a happy place to be
we all seek the one
who we cannot reach out
to be with them we wish with all our heart
time passes on some heal
some dont
the pain for some
is still fresh in their heart
they seek whats gone
they cannot find them
then they find their way
to forever join them.

To the stars
We all feel lost
We all feel sorrow
We cant see the light
At the end of the tunnel
Try as we might we cant find the end
We try as we might
Again and again
The end we have sought
Has felt so far
It hasnt kept us
From looking to the stars.

I say goodbye
My time is up and i am glad
Throughout my life my life has been sad
My pain at night shows i was alive
through cuts and scrapes i know its time
to end it all and take my sleep
as the time goes on i feel it creep
i ask for it soon to be at peace
the death i seek puts me at ease
i want it to end with me in sleep
to be in a dream and be at ease
all i ask before i go
is to say goodbye
and be no more.

With every start there is and end
When death finally comes he is my friend
The way of my end i do not fret
If by my hand i would rejoice
For there will be no pain

the darkest hell
can there ever be more than one
of this i know so well
there are many parts of hell i see
i live them all and dwell
the pain and darkness rises up
to swallow me and eat me up
i writhe in pain all through the years
it will never end of this i fear
ive lost the will to win the fight
and thus now ive lost the light
what awaits me through my hell
i will never know
for it will never tell

Feeding
in the world of light thus comes the night
keep a close eye on them or your lose your life
in the dark their eyes shine bright
we mere humans will lose the fight
dark crimson red is what they need
they hunt us down when its time to feed
be on your gaurd or next you shall they bleed

Emptyness
My life is full of emptiness my heart as hard as stone
Will my life be ever peaceful
Of this ill never know
The pain I feel inside is growing
Never ceasing to stop
The way I feel cannot be helped
I sense it will never stop
I feel the only way to stop the strife
