Upon Losing My Scoop Of Ice Cream
God's! What terrible crime hath this committed
That deserves such foul vengeance wrought upon
natures pure and beautiful creation!
Look there, oh God, see thy vanilla beauty
laid to waste upon ground a crawl with germ and dust.
Hath heaven no mercy? Hath heaven no grace,
nor love of beauty? Damn you oh gravity!
Curse the day of thy birth!
Tell me what foul purpose doth heaven serve
if it is in heaven's will humanity's glorious
creation should fall prey to such ill fortune?
Know, O Lord, that this day shall not go
forgotten! Look at this,...

Avelanche
Crisp lick from a flaming tongue,
Flick my bic to the "on" position.
Goldilocks rise to the tip of my spliff,
Where a crimson cherry signals the inhale,
Searing smoke cools the mind's many worry's,
Creating a flurry of friendly emotions.
Consider it how you will poison or potion,
Either way I know the motions real.
Next in line gets the hit, gets her vibe on,
Green peace she's always known to rely on,
Everybody here's higher then Zion,
But that's life when weed's the only shoulder to cry on.
Spliff's gravitating clockwise,...

Elude
Crystal glass plate is duly summoned,
A Knights razor blade's been unsheathed
Our precious Mary J quickly forgotten for
A boughten bag of mid-July snow,
Mean while getting geared up to go.
Never held a friend who didn't love the high,
Always introduced to those who want a try,
We are they who dared to touch the sky,
Oddly though when we fall we forget to fly...
Sniffing nightmares disguised as dreams,
Beans crushed up to dust so white,
Life experienced like never before seen,
But the price these moments is rough,
Light becomes...

Moments
A piper play amidst the mist,
There sits a harper amongst the trees.
The mountain realm provides the peace
That shall only be known in moments like these.
Materialism is life through filtered glass,
Moments "Hollywood" are moments passed.
Those who seek oft forget to ask,
And when first one must be quick to be last.
Lest they come to know the Devil's laugh.

Occupied
Drunk on the ways of my world,
Consumed by what's been deemed real,
Trapped upon the path of slow going
Heading only for the source of my heart.
Considering faults hidden glories,
Accepting what as truth?
Sought out the annals for the answer,
And in doing so tightened the noose.
Somewhere on the line between morals,
Lay a key I seem abligated to find.
What's right is never the answer,
For the right thing changes with time.
Once again locked in my sorrow,
The place where my Lord comes to find.
Today has been lost to...

vague self
Sweet scarlet healing flow
Smoothly between the teeth,
A gentle copper kiss staining
The lips, rolling over the tongue
To sooth these shaking nerves.
Porcelain skin marred by
The marks of a bite, listen
To you gasp as you share your life
So that you might dwell in mine.
Blue eyes finding black,
Soft moan, hunger grows,
Crimson smile blossoms in the hopes
Of ecstasy; there can be no turning back.
Shade of night after day descends;
We monsters come out to play.
Empty streets, boulevards of broken bottles
Make for dark...

Sometimes I stay up late
Listening to sounds of the radio
Just writing whatever comes to mind.
No plans, no interactions,
Only me, my pen, and the paper.
The sentinel moon glides above,
Night's effect covers me
Like the dew of dawn during
The cool months of spring.
I am content for now.

chains
Doctors, pills, prescriptions,
Pain.
Born, raised, forsaken, attempt,
Vain.
Lost, hopeless, addicted,
Confused.
Wrists, bleeding, soul leaving
Into decay and abuse.
Dawn; peeks, eyes; burn,
Darkness giving refuge.
Forced, broken, on the brink,
Delusion pulled strings.
Steal, run, hide,
Nobody eats for free.
Crowded room, all alone
Nothing there to see.
Caught again, frozen cell,
Here we go again.
Present day, nothing changed,
But the size of chains.
Pain.
Born, raised, forsaken, attempt,
Vain.
Lost, hopeless, addicted,

Consequence of the Machine
My life is contained in a box.
How long it has been?
I feel as if I’ve never walked
Beyond the wall.
My universe is centered here.
I deny the existence of reality,
Every day I contemplate the philosophy
Of my isolation.
Deep thought breaks through the insanity,
Laying me to sleep softly
Where I fall victim to contemplation.
Two walls confine me,
One of stone and one of self.
Although all ice thows gradually
I feel like I belong nowhere else.
This hand’s been dealt to me
By the heartless...
