Little Girl
Little girl
You're caught up in your dreams
Escaping your fate
Moving on to brighter things
Butterflies and rainbows
Tails of kings and queens
A place far away from reality
Where only the purest hearts can go
Little girl
You're so popular
The cool kids want to be you
Though you're not a people person
You seem to make it through
A personality so bubbly
No one thinks you're blue
Little girl
You're destined for greatness
Everyone sees it
You like to believe it
Anything
You could achieve it
The world...

They Say
They say love who you are
But what if you don't even know
They say shine like a star
But what if you can't outshine your scars
They say make your own path
And the good times will last
But they don't know
That you're lost in your past
If life was as great as they said it would be
You wouldn't be dying inside
Falling down on your knee
No mercy no matter how bad you plead
In this time of hate and greed
And you're still trying to find your way
With those stupid lies stuck in your head
With those hippie saying drowning you out...
But what if you don't even know

Paradise
The last day of yester-year
And I'm spending it right here
If everything went wrong yesterday
I'm going to another year
I already have a resolution
I'm going to live out my dreams
No matter how crazy they seem
Or if it's only in my mind
I will find a way
To make it to a happier day
And not be depressed all the time
With no mom to tease me about it
My brother won't cause as much pain
There will be no more rain
But I don't expect sunshine
Today is my new day
I've made it out of yesterday
And I'm going to my...

My Mind
I'm in jail
But it has no bars
Don't try to run
You won't get far
For this place is a maze
A cage without a cage
There's so much light in here
But I still can't see
Opening my eyes wider
To escape the darkness in me
A light so bright
Is so dim on me
It's strange how I feel so alone
When almost every cell has people
But one had half a man
One was labeled "Envy"

I saw so much of this in me

So What?
So what if I'm not like you?
I never wanted to be
Yet I'm still falling off the edge
Trying to find me
Lost in my fantasy
So what if I'm quiet?
I still have started riots
But I don't know why
I keep trying
Pushing myself further
I just want you to notice me
So what if I hide my emotions?
You'll call me prissy if I do
A complete sob story
And I'm near the end too
Looking down the canyon
No diary to show you
So what if I cut?
I tried to stop
But it didn't work
Stopping made it hurt even worse

Down the Street
Across the street I went
Dotting the lines
And closing my eyes
Sanity in disguise
For when I went across that street
The blood did drip but it didn't seep
But later that day I could still stand on my feet
Across the street is where sad kids go
Where depression can show
I learned about it a while ago
A new way for feelings not to show
I even got to start a bracelet collection

From head to toe

No you're not
Just hiding what you feel
Happiness isn't real
Of course I love you

Brother
He's behind bars now
His entire past is showing now
He has too much false pride too look down
He my brother and dead to me now
Since the beginning of me
He thought I was a puppy
A puppet on strings
Who knew I would amount to better things?
Better then my brother who didn't claim me?
Made me hate guys and wonder aimlessly
And broke our mom in half?
Now he's behind bars
He has a criminal record for smashing in a door
Even a restraining order
Mom said she might leave him where he stands
Lost little boy
His entire past is showing now
He has too much false pride too look down
He my brother and dead to me now

Beauty
Raging against the fire
Just trying to go higher
But the sun always sets
On a promise you soon forget
Feeling like a butterfly with no wings
Can't fly and lost the beauty in things
Now all I do is crawl
Surviving my fall
Death calling me down the hall
Yet Beauty cured the Beast
But Beauty killed me
Cracking my heart
Letting my rose fall apart
I'm still raging against that fire
Now I know people like me don't go higher
The sun shall forever set
On lies we always regret
Just trying to go higher
But the sun always sets

A shower full of darkness
Corrupting the wishes she once had
Weighing her down like stone
It was death lingering in the mind
Branding every thought she ever had
Shaping a prospective like clay

Blue Angel
My blue angel sings of the nights that await us
He sings of the stories yet to be told
Yet his chorus goes unnoticed
The bridge tells of gold
My blue angel dances to a beat that has yet to exist
Creating an invisible melody in his mind
But his motions tell everything
He dances like everyone is watching
Though no one is at all
My blue angel writes a thousand words
That the world has yet to learn
And no one will ever speak of
Stil he writes as though everyone will know them
My blue angel cries not one tear
He has pride...

I Love You
To be or not to be?
I'm just looking around
But I'm blind and can't see
Trying to notice what they see in me
When I hide so much and don't stick up
I guess they want a side character
Many times they say they love me
And all I can do is feel guilty
I never wanted to break a heart
This is like hidden torture
When I only love one person
What do I say?
I love you too?
When I really don't
But when you know how it feels
To let go of someone you love
You don't want anyone else to feel
That pain
So do I lie?...
