Wishing for Something Stronger than Painkillers
I'm searching for something to take the pain away.
This pain I feel right here.
It isn't natural, doctor, don't tell me I'm going to be okay.
Because I'm not.
Come on, doc. You took a vial of my blood and had me pee in a cup, for what?
That doesn't tell you I'm sane.
Because I know I'm not.
Just look at me, I'm not pretty, I'm not skinny, so I might as well be insane.
I have nothing left to turn to.
I need something stronger than pain killers.
Stronger than this medicine you've put me on.
I'm searching for something to take the pain away.

This pain I feel right here.

Lone Wolf
I am the one who runs alone
At night you hear my cry
Wild down to my bones
And I see through winters lie
My name unknown, my fur unseen
Golden optics strike fear
Bristled through teeming muscles lean
My teeth sharper in leer
I am the king with eternal zeal
Fur and form filed fine
I see fate with a final seal
And the ephemeral moon is mine
At night you hear my cry
Wild down to my bones
And I see through winters lie

I don't know what to say
I'm not good at poetry
I'm popular like you say
But either way
It wouldn't matter
It would only be sadder
If I were fatter
Wouldn't make me climb the ladder
Or if I were skinny
What if I were pretty?
Would that make me witty?
Or if I lived in the city
Shut up, please, I know I can't write
Shut up, please, I know I have fright

Would that make me bright?

Just One More
Ours is a dangerous romance
"Just one more," he whispers.
"Okay…" I whisper back.
And neither of us know that it's killing us.
Ours is a dangerous friendship
"Just take one more," He coaxes.
"Okay…" I sob back.
And neither of us know it's thrilling us.
Ours is a dangerous acquaintanceship

DRUGS POEM

Slurred
A monster makes a man?
Or was it the drink?
What do you think?
His soul does it shrink?
The poison lulls him to the lack to stand
Slurred
Crawling, bawling, falling, tumbling
As he lurched across the floor
So much, too much, no more liquor
Just please come back to the man you were before
Now look at you, hands on that girl, fumbling
Slurred
So the alcohol made this thing, miss?
Oh no, surely you're mistaken
If only two he'd taken
For woe, he doesn't seem shaken
No one was there to toss him into his abyss
...

Did you think he was in love with you?
No honey
He was in love with the idea of love
Did you think you were the one for him?
No child
There's no woman fit for him from Hell nor above
Did you think he would give it up for you?
No dear
No measly woman would sway his ways
Did you think you could change him?
No darling
Not even his self could save his days
Did you think you could fix his flirting withdrawals?

Go To Hell For Heaven's Sake
These people who think they know
These children who get to never show
The pain inside
That we must hide
Do they know what it's like to have blades kiss their wrists?
Or to have the loss of wits?
To be told they're fat?
To have to blame it on the cat?

Pain
What are you planning?
Why are you shouting?
Always drinking
Always pouting
When she comes home with swollen lips
Tears stained red trying to earn tips
She whispered you the stars
And lets you dream afar
Though her body is broken
She hasn't felt
Pain
When he comes home with drunken lips
Drunken pants, thrusting hips
Screaming pleads and clawing hands
No, reality shall never land
And even though his body isn't awoken
He hasn't caused
Pain
And brother dearest with dirty lips
Cussing, slurring, and beating, yips!...
Why are you shouting?

Inner Demons
This day I dread
Tears I shed
Tis never to be spoken oath again
Til one is dead
Nor a hundred more
Or far as I see through the corridor
You see these threads?
These tiny silver spider webs?
That's all that's left of my friends
Nothing but dust
Left me to rust
Wait, more like cobwebs
They fleet like I said
From them do I ebb
Away from me now
Down
Down

Leave me to drown
In these woes
Facing these foes
Like Dante in the pits of Hell,
Leave me in my cell?
Very well ...
