My soul weeps for him,
Every tear falling to the ground.
I long for the touch of his hand against my face,
To see his smile one last time.
As years pass,
Memories fade,
But not those of him.
In my world of death and darkness,
He was my shining life.
The promise he made,
To love me until his dying day,
Was fufilled to soon.
And now with his body resting six feet under,
All I want is to reach out to him,
To love him once more,
To hold him,
Or even just to whisper his name.
