POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
Hello there.I joined 16 days ago but I was having trouble posting comments(I actually wrote in my 3rd comment,I think, that it was my first.Oopsy sorry) because of it.I've really enjoyed reading your poems and I hope you will read mine too!
Golden Heavens(Sirens and Angels)
Maybe the reason you don't feel like you belong here is that you are not from here.Maybe the curls in your hair were borrowed from the ocean, and the glow in your skin was left there when dawn danced into being.Maybe the whites of your eyes are night kisses from stars and the paleness of your soul came from a perfect full moon.Maybe the reason you feel you don't belong here is that you belong with the stars and the moon in the rainbow heavens.

Alabaster Dreams
Oh let's dance on marble cobwebs
And paint tattoos of dying stars on velvet streams
Oh let's prance on our gardens of magic and infinity
And leave tainted ribbons on the edge of our silent dreams
Let's scribble numbers and gloom, frustration and doom
And drink from the petals of our diamond-skull bloom.

Pastelion Nights
Streaks of pastel memories bleach the midnight air
Enchanting the dark with myths of honey-glazed chains
Braiding larkspur and lavender into its haunted lanes
Caging ribs of stone-cold lava into her stolen nightmare.
As delicate flakes of cyanide drip gently from the moon
And beads of wavy starlight paint rainbows in the trees
She slips veils under her skin to feel the blood-stained breeze
And tattoos dragons and destruction upon every golden bloom.
Mirrors of melting auroras drain galaxies into black ink
Brandishing wands of despair over every...

Razor-coated feathers
It drifts gracefully through a
myriad of jewelled sunsets
This delicate feather,adorned in its
snow-dusted coat
As it weaves halos of starry
twilights upon my head
I drink the alabaster heavens
flowing from its jasmine garden.
It flutters around in garlands of
twisted silk
This morose feather,clenched
between fists of ragged grey
As it sketches tales of cracked
brooches upon my chest
I cast ruby-drenched seeds into
ridges of silver streams.
It crawls into a blue box of
ravenous skeletons
This melancholic feather...

Where dreamcatchers meet stars and golden butterflies float
And if tonight
The moon won't let you sleep
We can melt into the smoke
Of our burning incense
And slip
In and out
Of their dreamcatchers
Until they can fall asleep
Or the night has become a distant memory
Until midnight dries up
And dawn stains the quiet sky with 29 shades of wilted dreams.

Black Velvet Winds
Insomniac devils nest in the cracked-reed shadows
Bathing my soul in diabolical pools,so shallow
Unmasking my sullen being, bare to the marrow
Scraping off my dreams, etching grey voids and hollows.
Crescents of sliced moonlight drift through my mind
Slaying into oblivion the celestial vials I have designed
Scattering symphonies of the stars yet so perfectly aligned
Nightmares of belted wrists on these walls I have signed.
I drill holes of kaleidoscope smiles into midnight ghosts
As they splash ebony paint upon my lily-lined coasts
Dead,yet...

Her dreams float away and catch in barbed wire
The belt of Orion's blood-studded rosebuds blooms,
Melting ginger rhinestones into a pool of carmine plumes,
Vintage is this intricate lace sculpted in smeared eyeliner
A crystal ball, her glass monocle-I am the designer.
She injects black frost into her cashmere stream,
Infecting her psychic ghouls with her glitter-lung dream,
Spelling tales of forged embroidery on her shredded curtains,
Drowning out her broken screams, her midnight blurtin's.
With each daisy inhaled her black moon lifts,
And her psychedelic string of pastel clouds drifts,...

Black Sun Utopia
An enchanting sigh of satin blackness she heaves
As the death cold cuffs of her metallic sleeves
Stamp beads of scarlet hatred onto her ethereal aura
Unleashing the dreaded beast within the box of Pandora.
Majestic yet tortured is this soul-devouring unicorn
But still her bludgeoned heart sees past its deadly alicorn
And she gently swallows the choking strands of crescent moonlight
That seep from its mystical bane of evil in the serenity of night.

My Darkness Speaks to Me
She falls upon me in layers like dark chains,
And shrouds my entire being in her spider-like veins.
Her intoxicating venom throttles my throat,
And yet there in her poison I voluntarily float.
Like a black feather fallen from a raven's eye,
She rests on my ear as the angels in the heavens die.
Her impenetrable evil glows black in the night,
She parts her unspeakable lips and breathed blood masked with fright.
I look into her eyes and inhale her diabolical guise,
Shattered by the truth of her seductive lies,
She whispers of death and of the...

I killed her butterfly
Ridges of blackened snow reflect in my eyes,
I never meant to torment her with lies,
A black veil of memory devours my face,
Memories I thought I'd buried in that place,
That place beyond, where clouds burn free,
Evil dies and she forever stays with me.
With a tiny flick from her rusted nails,
The thin shield of glass woven around me fails,
To keep all my darkness hidden within,
So I grasp her tongue and wrap it around her skin,
As she falls to the floor, beautiful young thing,
I die another death, become another being.
Cold and paralysed...

My Garland
Upon my head reposes a dream-invading garland,
Whose enchanting intricacy is grasped even from a far land,
My dream-like halo woven from the finest of vines,
Soaked in golden light, and in roses intertwined.
Reflecting the musings of my soul in its blinding light,
A light whose heavenly fluorescence sweeps away the night.
They behold it in awe and do not blink,
My garland of light,or so they think.
Upon my head rests my nightmares' ghastly garland,
Whose enchanting darkness only I can understand.
My jet-black nimbus embroidered from a serpentine...

Death Owls and Fanged Mice
Undying,unwanting,bleeding,seething
The molecules of ebony unchain my battered throat
As if no one alerted them of my black hate for breathing
And of my long-standing wish to ride on Death's sullen boat.
Writhing,cursing,weeping,praying
I hover on the spiked dust,my insides mangled
My scathing train to wells beyond,I have not kept from straying
Till now in its own seperntine wrath it has irrevocably entangled.
Death owls rain down from the misty heavens
Their cold, dead claws unscrew my eyebulbs into falling stars
So we dance the moon's waltz...
