Morning Thoughts
It was never me
A boy, an athlete, an avid reader
That's what they didn't see
Thinking love was what they would feel
They never heard the me within
The human behind the stolen smile
I was a pool of calm water to fill their holes
As I drained through the places they were broken
What they were blind to drained away too
Each time I poured all I was upon their pain
It became an expectation
I was an image
Sometimes to elevate them
Someone to analyze, to educate them
I was but human, a broken boy
As the parade of needs mistaken for love...

Rain
The cool rain permeates our skin
as lips find each other
tasting natures essence of life
Unclothed on earth's floor
hands slide eagerly over your curves
as the rain massages our senses
our hearts beating as one with the thunder
I am intoxicated
Drunk in your equal passion
Wanting to feel you close
to share ourselves with the passing storm
Every drop; liquid fuel
igniting our fervor
feeling alive, sensual
Our echoes cast upon the clouds
with every kiss of passion
devouring your graciousness ...

I Wonder
I imagine in firefly twilight
slip and slide of falling sun
leaving shadows in its wake
cutting through the in between
to float upon its surface; drift
Creak of wood floor under naked foot press
the sound of air sighing at the scent of skin
hands curl
feel
senses cling long after touch has left
Pulse rush
each heart has its music
listen to the depth and rhythm
fall into the sound
it wraps you up
and makes you float again
Search the vision
currents of the gaze
a flow over this landscape
pierce the prism...

Clarity
Gleaning a contented soul
From the mirrored radiance
Casting clarity of spirit from its expressions
On days the suns rays pique quiet moments of illumination
Clouds of gray may approach with aim
To taint or tamper
That very reflection
From time to time
Winds of change rearrange directions
Grasping reality as it is shuffled into confusion
Or merely in disarray
Cast off the lies
Receive the calmness that dusk or another dawn will bring
As moment to moment
Life moves...

Dreams echo moans beckoning softly to you
Yearning desire pressing hips into crisp sheets
Breath quickens with whispers of passion released
Silken moonbeams caress heated flesh
Teasing desire into wanton growls
Expanding the universe inspiring flames
Succumb to divine dexterity of your wind
Heated lust no longer denied within
Waking with yearning flesh my desire only grows

the sun whispers secrets to
the clouds
carries them
travels
oceans
lands
pasture
guarding

Left for "business" in Bangkok
Hub of the eastern world
Join all the tourists
Party with the little girls
Dancing as they sleepwalk
Empty eyes hidden by disco lights
Pranced on the auction block
Hating all the hungry smiles
Mindless of the wooden shacks
Row after endless row
In the shadow of the factories
As open sewerage flows
Ignoring the children's faces
Hope burning in their eyes
Too young to realize
