LOVE POEM

Startled
Unprepared for this surgery,
the excision of memories leaves me buckled against the wall.
Naked to my core I feel the vapor arms around me and
let the hot water irrigate the pain to the surface.
No medication to treat what's infected,
I turn my head to face the specter of my choices.
In phantom sensation from the amputation,
I see the chest I've leaned into my whole life.
Each hair familiar and curves intimately known.
This body and heart have been my only home.
There is no one to take my hand through...

Sweet Dreams
Cicadas drone
his name.
Breeze blows
him into my mouth.
Stars twinkle
a memory of
lingering kisses
savored alone
in the passing hours.
Mars orbits
like fingertip trails
along my skin until
I shake myself awake.
Sun spreads open
the day to find
petals covered by the dew
of overnight fantasies.

Fierce and focused
determined to
stand out, be outstanding.
Single-minded and serious
disciplined
without distractions.
Intense and intuitive
setting aside
insulation.
Warrior
against weariness
never plays it safe.

Waiting at the window for Him.
I see him from the window where my soul sits waiting
for the turn of key.
He is the incarnation of my too high expectations
yet I dream and search for
One who peeks at my thoughts
then throws the door open
to challenge each one.
Tickling and probing the hidden little spots,
exposing the secrets,
then tucking them into his own pocket.
My inner rooms laid bare before him,
always asking more,
knowing more,
accepting all as his private treasure.
No one gets past the guard he sets around me
because he values...
for the turn of key.

Throughout the Day
Morning is moist mostly
thinking about your
digits daring to delve
beyond the useless fabric
covering the creamy kisses I save for you.
Afternoon awakens Aphrodite
in fantasy of play time -
heart racing, hair pulling havoc
on the floor of my room.
I am grabbed and groped and given
over to your intoxicating strength.
Evening brings your eyes eloquently
speaking the heart's desire
to know, be known and to need
another's soul be laid bare
revealing presence and passion
shared only by kindred spirits.
Night never...

The Moon directs the tide so
Today I feel the waxing pull
on the parts of me
searching for the beach.
There is no shore on which to find shelter.
And the surge will break point only
upon your chest and in your arms, my Moon Lover.

and collared love waits,
gathering days for
my Sir.
Wisps of senses
the click of lock brings
the darkness of trust and
my Surrender.
Daydreams of need
his growl of lust begs for
the crop on cream flesh then
my Fulfillment.
Stretches of time
the long expansive need
for Master's hand and
my Ecstasy.
From across space
his secret calls to mine,
distance we loathe tests
my Endurance.
Weeping not for the imposter
instead the heart
and body...

Ablaze
He blows the ashen ember of my heart
The tiny glowing gift I give
he brings to life with words of love and pleasure
until the spark becomes full flame,
bright and captivating to him.
My body is searing with desire
to be consumed by his eyes and teased
to blaze by his every word and thought.
He tends me into white hot unknown places.
I simmer in passion
and am scorched on my bed
by the ache to watch him stoke
what is within me
so when I open to him
He is satisfied with what he finds.

My Nightly Visitors
The familiars come by night
to taunt, to flaunt, to beat me
until my brain is fuzzy
my heart is weak and
the skin is bubbling and raw
they rewind and remind my shame
every last sin in vivid detail
they replay all of it
from the first to the last frame
i performed as expected -
sliced by hate
raped by greed
flogged by lies
puched by lust
over and over they take their turn to lash at me
to crucify
without forgiveness
i beg for mercy
i plead for relief
they give me bourbon to drink and sensuality to...

Intertwined Bull
The white bull was sacrificed today.
The high priestess said a prayer then
plunged the blade through skin.
Thus ended my time of taming.
He came into the village unexpectedly.
We lonely ones feasted and rejoiced.
He was decorated and praised.
And his gaze rested on me.
Sagging arms hated his strength.
Limp men hated his vigor.
He ignored them all and was reviled.
His sanctuary was my arms.
A crowd gathered to watch the show.
Some to mourn, most to dance.
But I, I felt fear to lose him.
I may never see...

Divorce
Fear squeezes its way to my belly
to pump bile back into my mouth
I stand accused and guilty
as it shakes with laughter at my plight
Mother fucking jackal
licks the vomit of my pain
with a mouth of lead sharpened to fine point
waiting to sign my death with its bite.

Drowning
Tread not the water of silence but
Float on stone still. Not a
ripple create along the icy lake
of commitment and disappointment
and the lonely ache.
Inattention carries us to the center
no raft or paddle or rescue.
Without sight of shore, we wait
while the water rises
And our breadth and fate become
choked by the drowning liquid -
silence and sadness.
